CIPS Level 4 Question Type:
The modules you study will be assessed by either Objective Response (OR) exams or Constructed Response (CR) exam formats. It is better to start with OR-type exam.
Objective Response (OR):
CIPS Objective Response (OR) exams assess knowledge through multiple-choice and objective-type questions, evaluating candidates’ understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts. They are computer-based and can be taken at an exam center or remotely.
In OR exams questions, you will select a response from a list of possible answers. You will find these types of exams across all our qualifications.
Example:
Which of the following best describes the term “Just-In-Time (JIT)”?
A. Holding large stock
B. Delivering items only when needed
C. Weekly delivery of stock
D. Buying in bulk
Pass Mark:
The pass mark for OR exams is 70%.
Constructed Response (CR) Questions:
In CR exam questions, you’ll be expected to create or construct your answer in an essay style or case study style. You’ll find this format of exam in our diploma-level qualifications.
CR exams are graded as:
50% Pass
60% Merit
75% Distinction
Example:
