Department of Civil Engineering is one of the five academic Departments in the Faculty of Engineering of Daffodil International University at Daffodil Smart City - DSC The Department of Civil Engineering covers a broad range of disciplines related to structural, environmental, geotechnical, transportation and water resources engineering. The syllabus involves public infrastructure, including trans

portation, water resources, buildings and other structures such as dams and bridges such as civil engineers plan, design and supervise the construction of facilities. Mission:

During their visit, the delegation explored our academic and administrative facilities, gaining insights into our educational environment, research activities, and departmental operations.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ The Department of Civil Engineering successfully conducted an industrial visit to Mawa Railway Station and Padma Bridge under the course CE-451 (Pavement Design and Railway Engineering).

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ The visit was carried out under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Mohammad Hannan Mahmud Khan, Head of the Department and Associate Professor, and Kazi Obaidur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering.

๐Ÿš†๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ This academic visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to railway infrastructure, rigid and flexible pavement systems, and modern transportation engineering practices, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.
