Alhamdulillah, Adl Advisory was delighted to welcome delegates from Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited to Malaysia on 25–26 August 2026 for an immersive ADL I-FinTour, conducted under our Executive Training Programme in Islamic Finance (ETPiF).
This two-day programme connects executive learning with real-world institutional practice, combining specialised training, industry exposure, knowledge exchange, and engagement with leading organisations in Malaysia’s takaful & financial services ecosystem.

The first day focused on Malaysia’s takaful & re-takaful sector, covering key areas including its legal and regulatory framework, product development, Shariah governance practices, regulatory policies, Shariah models, and commission and expense management. The sessions provided participants with practical perspectives on the structures and practices shaping the takaful industry.
𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝟐 | 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒔 & 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕-𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔
The second day took participants beyond the classroom through visits to takaful and re-takaful operators and the Malaysian Takaful Association, offering first-hand exposure to Malaysia’s takaful industry. Participants engaged with senior executives and gained insights into the organisations’ operations, activities, and industry practices.
The programme also included engagement with 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗳𝘂𝗹𝟰𝗔𝗹𝗹 & Munich Re, further broadening participants’ perspectives on takaful, insurance, and risk solutions.
The two-day experience concluded with a 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 by Dr (M***i) Yousuf Sultan, Founder & CEO of Adl Advisory, recognising the participants’ successful completion of the executive training programme.
At Adl Advisory, we believe that meaningful leadership development in Islamic finance goes beyond the classroom. It requires technical knowledge, Shariah fluency, industry exposure, strategic understanding, and meaningful engagement with institutions shaping the sector.
The ADL I-FinTour bridges knowledge and practice, connecting professionals with institutions to foster learning, meaningful exchange, and deeper insights into the evolving Islamic finance landscape.
We sincerely thank the Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited delegation for their active participation, and the Malaysian Takaful Association, Takaful4All, and Munich Re for their valuable contributions to this industry learning experience.
We look forward to continuing to build bridges, exchange knowledge, and empower leaders who will contribute to the future of Islamic finance, InshaAllah.
