We have long-held beliefs that learning the English language is difficult. As a result, this language is often ignored. From the beginning of our school life, we mostly focus on passing exams rather than truly learning English.

In recent years, it has been observed that many people struggle to learn English due to the lack of a proper system and clear guidelines. In addition, learners often face internal challenges like shyness and fear, which prevent them from continuing. Many also expect to learn English quickly or overnight. Overall, most learners lack the patience to continue learning and practicing for a sustained period. As a result, they often fail to succeed in the long run.

Here are two main tips I want to share today for you:

1. Start with Practical English for Daily Use:

Begin with common and useful English vocabulary and phrases used in everyday life—such as during shopping, greetings, or daily activities.
Learn words like food, eat, take, bring, give, gift, throw, party, come, go, read, write, buy, dress, book, drink, water, tea, travel, drive, enjoy, holiday, watch, drama, take bath, hang out, friend, family, fan, turn on, turn off, like, love, father, mother, sister, brother, relatives, make, and so on—about 200 to 300 basic words. These help you relate English to your daily actions and activities.

2. Develop the Habit of Using English:

Practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening regularly.
- Speak 3 to 5 sentences daily with friends
- Write 3 to 4 short sentences,
- Read short stories or newspapers,
- Listen to podcasts, watch cartoons, or dramas.

By following these tips, anyone can gradually improve their English.

Finally, remember: you must include English in your daily routine. I strongly believe that you can improve your English in a short time if you live with the language and continue learning and practicing.

Don't avoid making use of online resources, digital platforms, and tools like apps, Google, ChatGPT, and others.

Why Do You Learn English?

It's a million-dollar question. This is a simple yet significant question that arises in everyone's mind. However, different individuals have distinct perspectives on this matter, as each person utilizes the English language to fulfill their unique needs and desires. Therefore, it's natural that the purpose of learning English varies from person to person.

Today, I would like to share my opinion on this issue. In short, I believe that the English language serves as a foundation for all skill development. Why do I say this? There are several compelling reasons, which I will outline below.

1. Global Medium of Communication:

English is one of the most widely used languages worldwide for conversation, communicating, and understanding. It acts as a bridge connecting people from different cultures and backgrounds.

2. Access to Knowledge and Resources:

Proficiency in English allows individuals to communicate effectively with international trainers, experienced professionals, and experts. It also enables access to a vast array of information available on platforms like Google and other written documents, facilitating the enhancement of one's knowledge and skills.

3. Boosts Confidence and Competitiveness:

Developing skills and knowledge through the English language transforms individuals into confident persons, making them more competitive in the global arena. This confidence empowers them to tackle various challenges effectively.

In conclusion, learning English is not just about acquiring a new language; it's about unlocking opportunities for personal and professional growth. It equips individuals with the tools necessary to succeed in today's interconnected world.
