🤝 CIRDAP Signs MoU with Indigram Labs Foundation, New Delhi, India

The Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indigram Labs Foundation (ILF), New Delhi, India, on 22 September 2026.

The partnership brings together CIRDAP’s regional network and ILF’s expertise in agri innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship to promote technology led solutions for agriculture, rural livelihoods, climate resilience, food systems and sustainable rural development.

The MoU will facilitate collaboration in startup showcases, knowledge sharing, regional outreach, technology dissemination and institutional linkages. It will also create opportunities for ILF supported startups to connect with government institutions, development organisations, businesses, investors, research institutions and other stakeholders across CIRDAP member countries.

The two organisations will explore joint webinars, digital conferences, startup presentation series, knowledge exchange, capacity building, research activities and opportunities for pilot projects, market access and resource mobilisation.

The MoU was signed on behalf of CIRDAP by Mr. FAM Zakirul Huq, Head of Administration, and on behalf of ILF by Dr. Ram Narayan Ghatak, CEO, Indigram Labs Foundation, in the presence of H.E. Dr. P. Chandra Shekara, Director General of CIRDAP, along with representatives from both organisations.

CIRDAP and ILF look forward to connecting innovation, entrepreneurship and regional cooperation to support more inclusive and sustainable rural development.

From Policies to People: What Really Makes Rural Development Work?

The Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific, in collaboration with the Participatory Rural Development Initiatives Society, India, successfully hosted CIRDAP Knowledge Series Webinar 63 on 17 September 2026.

The webinar featured Prof. S. V. Reddy, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development Specialist, President and Executive Director of PRDIS, Hyderabad, India, and Former Professor of Agricultural Extension at ANGRAU.

Drawing on diverse field experiences and grassroots interventions, the session explored the key factors that contribute to successful, inclusive, and sustainable rural development programmes.
