Q1.1 Write the difference between RAM and ROM. [BNPS Programmer 2014]

Answers:
RAM stands for random access memory and ROM stands for read-only memory.
Data stored in RAM can be modified, erased, retrieved and altered, and read. Data stored in ROM can only be read, it cannot be revised or cancelled. The data saved in RAM is utilized by the Central Processing Unit (CPU) to prepare current instructions. The data collected in ROM is applied to bootstrap the computer/PC.

EPROM (Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) is also the type of ROM is read and written optically. In EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) electric signal is used to erase the EEPROM’s contents.
The main difference between EPROM and EEPROM is that, the content of EPROM is erased by using UV rays. On the other hand, the content of EEPROM is erased by using electric signals.

In previous day's session, we had covered overall syllabus ( what have to be read for admission) . Hopefully, aspirants have got benefited.

In 12th April, we will cover topics on Algorithm.We will discuss various graph algorithms , sorting algorithms etc. We will solve previous year questions ( topics : Algorithm).

After that, a model test will be held in this topic. Time will be 10.00 AM
