If you drop out, skip classes, or leave your program of study without informing your school, your student visa may be revoked, and you may lose eligibility for future U.S. visas. Always adhere to the terms of your visa and maintain your student status to avoid any issues.

Effective January 21, 2026, the Department of State paused all immigrant visa issuances to nationals of countries, including Bangladesh, whose immigrants have a high rate of collecting public assistance at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer. The pause does not apply to visitor visas. Immigrant visa applicants who are nationals of impacted countries may submit visa applications and attend interviews, and the Department of State will continue to schedule visa interviews.

ভিসা বন্ড পাইলট প্রোগ্রাম কীভাবে কাজ করে

💠ভিসা ইন্টারভিউয়ের পর যোগ্য হলে কনসুলার কর্মকর্তা আপনাকে pay.gov–এর সরাসরি লিংকসহ পরিশোধের নির্দেশনা দেবে।
💠৩০ দিনের মধ্যে বন্ড পরিশোধ করতে হবে।
💠সর্বোচ্চ ৩ মাস মেয়াদি, একবার প্রবেশযোগ্য (সিঙ্গেল-এন্ট্রি) ভিসা দেওয়া হবে।
💠নির্ধারিত কিছু পোর্ট অব এন্ট্রি দিয়ে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে প্রবেশ করতে হবে।
💠দেশে ফিরে আসার পর ভিসার সব শর্ত পূরণ হলে বন্ড স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে বাতিল হবে এবং অর্থ ফেরত দেওয়া হবে (শর্তের মধ্যে রয়েছে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে কাজ না করা এবং নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে দেশে ফেরা)।

২০২৬ সালের ২১শে জানুয়ারি থেকে, বাংলাদেশের নাগরিকদের মধ্যে যারা ব্যবসা বা পর্যটনের উদ্দেশ্যে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের (B1/B2) ভিসার জন্য অনুমোদিত হবেন, তাদের সর্বোচ্চ ১৫,০০০ আমেরিকান ডলার পর্যন্ত একটি ভিসা বন্ড জমা দিতে হবে। তবে ২০২৬ সালের ২১শে জানুয়ারির আগে ইস্যু করা বৈধ B1/B2 ভিসাধারীদের ক্ষেত্রে এই শর্ত প্রযোজ্য নয়।

Starting January 21, 2026, all Bangladeshis approved for a B1/B2 (business/tourist) U.S. visa must pay a bond of up to $15,000. This requirement does not apply to people holding a valid B1/B2 visa issued before January 21, 2026.

Do NOT pay your bond in advance. Paying early does not guarantee you a visa, and third-party sites can be scams. Any payment made before your interview is NOT refundable. The bond will be returned if you respect the terms of your visa.
