Jeffrey Preston "Jeff" Bezos is an American business magnate and investor. He is a technology entrepreneur who has played a key role in the growth of e-commerce as the founder and CEO of Amazon.com, an online merchant of books and later of a wide variety of products. Under his guidance, Amazon.com became the largest retailer on the World Wide Web and a top model for Internet sales. In 2013, Bezos purchased The Washington Post newspaper. As of October 2014, Bezos's personal wealth is estimated to be US$27.6 billion, ranking him number 21 on the Forbes list of billionaires.

Carl Friedrich Gauss

Child prodigy Gauss, the ‘Prince of Mathematics’, made his first major discovery whilst still a teenager, and wrote the incredible Disquisitiones Arithmeticae, his magnum opus, by the time he was 21. Many know Gauss for his outstanding mental ability – quoted to have added the numbers 1 to 100 within seconds whilst attending primary school (with the aid of a clever trick). The local Duke, recognizing his talent, sent him to Collegium Carolinum before he left for Gottingen (at the time it was the most prestigious mathematical university in the world, with many of the best attending). After graduating in 1798 (at the age of 22), he began to make several important contributions in major areas of mathematics, most notably number theory (especially on Prime numbers). He went on to prove the fundamental theorem of algebra, and introduced the Gaussian gravitational constant in physics, as well as much more – all this before he was 24! Needless to say, he continued his work up until his death at the age of 77, and had made major advances in the field which have echoed down through time.

৩।অনর্থক কামনা নিজেই একটি ধ্বংসাত্বক
সঙ্গী, আর বদ অভ্যাস সৃষ্টি করে একটি ভয়াবহ
শত্রু।
৪।বিপদে অস্থিরতা নিজেই একটি বড় বিপদ।
৫।দ্রুত ক্ষমা করে দেয়া সম্মান বয়ে আনে আর
দ্রুত প্রতিশোধ পরায়ণতা অসম্মান বয়ে আনে।
৬।দুনিয়ার প্রতি ভালোবাসা যত বেশি হবে,
আল্লাহর প্রতি ততোটাই কম হবে ।
৭।মন্দ লোক অন্যদের
সম্পর্কে ভালো ধারণা করতে পারে না,
সর্বোচ্চ সে তাদেরকেও নিজের
মত মনে করে।
৮।যৌবনের অপচয়কৃত সময়ের ক্ষতি অবশ্যই
পূরন করতে হবে, যদি তুমি সন্তোষজনক
সমাপ্তি অনুসদ্ধান করো ।
৯।নিজের মহানুভবতার কথা গোপন রাখো, আর
তোমার প্রতি অন্যের মহানুভবতার কথা প্রচার
করো।
১০।আত্মতুষ্টি নিশ্চিতভাবে নির্বুদ্ধিতার লক্ষণ।

করলে অনেক কিছু পেতাম,
আর এখন অভিমান করলে অনেক কিছু
হারাই..
কারণ তখন ভালবাসায় ছিল পূর্ণতা,
আর এখন ভালবাসা পায় শূন্যতা !

পৃথিবীতে প্রাকৃতিক নিয়মে এমন কিছু ঘটনা ঘটে যার রহস্য সমাধান
করা মানুষের সাধ্যের বাইরে।যুক্তি দিয়ে বুদ্ধি ও বিবেক দিয়ে এইসব
ঘটনার সমাধান পাওয়া মানুষের পক্ষে সম্ভব না।
ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার ডেথ ভ্যালীর মরুভূমির এই চলন্ত পাথরের রহস্যের
ব্যাখ্যা বিজ্ঞানীরা আজো পরিষ্কার ভাবে দিতে ব্যর্থ।
এখানে হঠাৎ হঠাৎই একশ টনের ওপরের ওজনের পাথরকেও একশ গজ
পর্য়ন্ত এগিয়ে যেতে দেখা গেছে। অনেক বিজ্ঞানীর ধারণা এর কারণ হল তীব্র বাতাস এবং মরুর কাদাময় বালির প্রবাহ। কিন্তু তাঁরা ব্যাখ্যা করতে পারেন নি যে কিভাবে পাশাপাশি থাকা দুটি প্রায়একই ওজনের পাথর ভিন্ন গতি এবং ভিন্ন দিকে সরে যেতে পারে।
তাছাড়া হিসেবে বলে যে ঐ ওজনের একেকটি পাথর নড়াতে একশ মাইল গতির বায়ূপ্রবাহ দরকার যা ঐ মরুভূমিতে অনুপস্থিত। কাজেই এই ঘটনাটি এখনো প্রকৃতির এক অমিমাংসিত রহস্য হয়ে আছে।

বিশ্বে প্রথমবারের মতো সফলভাবে কৃত্রিম হৃৎপিণ্ড সংযোজন সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। একটি ফরাসি প্রতিষ্ঠান ক্যারমেটের তৈরি করা হৃদপিণ্ড ৭৫ বছর বয়স্ক এক ব্যক্তির দেহে সংযোজন করা হয়েছে। এর ফলে লোকটি আরো পাঁচ বছর বাঁচবেন বলে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে।
হৃৎপিণ্ডটি চলবে লিথিয়াম-আয়ন ব্যাটারির শক্তিতে। এটা দেহের বাইরে ধারণ করা যাবে।
কৃত্রিম হৃৎপিণ্ডটি লাগানো হয়েছে প্যারিসের পম্পিডো হাসপাতালে। এতে জৈব উপাদান ব্যবহার করায় দেহের একে প্রত্যাখ্যান করার সম্ভাবনা খুবই কম।
কৃত্রিম হৃৎপিণ্ডটি রোগাক্রান্ত হৃৎপিণ্ডের বদলে লাগানো যাবে। এটি প্রায় পাঁচ বছর কাজ করবে। আগের কৃত্রিম হৃদপিণ্ড প্রধানত সাময়িকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হতো।
চিকিৎসকেরা জানিয়েছেন, যে রোগীটির দেহে কৃত্রিম হৃৎপিণ্ড লাগানো হয়েছে, তিনি অস্ত্রোপচারের পর সঠিকভাবেই জেগেছেন।
কৃত্রিম হৃৎপিণ্ডটির ওজন এক কিলোগ্রামেরও কম, যা স্বাস্থ্যবান দেহের হৃৎপিণ্ডের চেয়ে তিনগুণ বেশি ওজনবিশিষ্ট।
