Last Thursday felt different. It wasn’t just another workshop. It was a room full of ideas, honest conversations, and shared purpose. Together with our youth-led partners, we explored how SRHR knowledge can travel further, reach deeper, and truly reflect the voices of young people across Bangladesh.

From shaping our Theory of Change to aligning on M&E, every discussion brought us closer as a network determined to create impact beyond Dhaka. What stood out most was the energy: young advocates ready to challenge norms, tell real stories, and build a more informed and confident generation.

And this is just the beginning. Stay with us, because there’s more coming.

Today, we sat with our seven youth-led partner organisations who came together under one shared vision at the Knowledge Management Workshop, marking a meaningful step forward for the Youth Share-Net project.

From shaping SRHR knowledge management pathways to jointly finalising the Theory of Change and M&E framework, partners engaged in thoughtful discussions, peer learning, and hands-on group work that set the tone for a more unified and responsive SRHR movement across Bangladesh.

Hosted by RedOrange and supported by AmplifyChange, the workshop brought together committed implementing partners: AVAS, DALIT, Prantoz Foundation, SERAC-Bangladesh, YAD, and YPSA. They contribute their unique strengths to strengthen collective impact on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

Change begins with informed youth, and Khulna is stepping up.

On April 13, Dalit Khulna, with support from AmplifyChange and RedOrange, hosted a district-level youth orientation and networking meeting at CSS Ava Center, Rupsha, Khulna.

Twenty young participants from five adjacent districts came together to learn, question, and lead on SRHR and rights-based advocacy.

The goal? Building a strong youth-led network to challenge social barriers and drive change from the ground up.

পরিবর্তন শুরু হয় সচেতন তরুণদের দিয়ে, আর খুলনায় সেই শুরুটা হয়ে গেছে।

গত ১৩ এপ্রিল, Dalit Khulna, AmplifyChange ও RedOrange–এর সহায়তায় শহরের রূপসায় অবস্থিত সিএসএস আভা সেন্টারে আয়োজন করে একদিনের যুব ওরিয়েন্টেশন ও নেটওয়ার্কিং সভা।

উক্ত সভায় পার্শ্ববর্তী ৫ জেলার ২০ জন তরুণ-তরুণী শিখেছে SRHR নিয়ে, কথা বলেছে সামাজিক বাধা নিয়ে, আর ভাবছে অধিকারভিত্তিক পরিবর্তন নিয়ে। এখন তাদের লক্ষ্য হচ্চেহ জেলা পর্যায়ে শক্তিশালী যুব নেটওয়ার্ক গড়ে তোলা।

ইয়ুথ শেয়ার-নেট প্রকল্পের আওতায় “স্থানীয় যুব ও SRHR নেটওয়ার্ক গঠন” কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে আভাস প্রশিক্ষন কেন্দ্রে ০৮ এপ্রিল ২০২৬ তারিখে “Establishing connections with local youth organizations and community groups and forming a youth network” শীর্ষক একটি বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

বৈঠকটি বরিশালে উন্নয়নমূলক সংগঠন এ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব ভলান্টারি এ্যাকশনস ফর সোসাইটি (আভাস) এর বাস্তবায়নে ইয়ুথ শেয়ার-নেট প্রকল্পের আওতায়, রেডঅরেঞ্জ এর উদ্যোগে এবং অ্যামপ্লিফাই চেইঞ্জ এর সহায়তায় অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

উক্ত বৈঠকে স্থানীয় সেচ্ছাসেবি যুব সংগঠন এর প্রতিনিধি এবং বরিশাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। বৈঠকের শুরুতে শুভেচ্ছা বক্তব্য রাখেন উম্মে সাইফুননেছা লাকি, ডিরেক্টর ফিন্যান্স এন্ড এডমিন,আভাস; প্রোগ্রামে নিদিষ্ট বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন নাসরিন খানম, রিসোর্স পার্সন এবং মোঃ শহিদুল ইসলাম, ডিরেক্টর এ্যাডভোকেসি এবং কমিশনিকেশন, আভাস।

সভায় অংশগ্রহণমূলক আলোচনা ও মতবিনিময়ের মাধ্যমে যুব সংগঠন এবং যুবদের মধ্যে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি, নেতৃত্ব বিকাশ এবং একটি কার্যকর যুব নেটওয়ার্ক গঠনের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরা হয়। বক্তারা বলেন, যুবদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহন স্বাস্থ্যসেবার মান উন্নয়ন এবং সকলের মাঝে সচেতনতা তৈরিতে বিশেষ ভূমিকা রাখবে।

বৈঠকের শেষে আভাসের ইয়ুথ শেয়ার-নেট প্রকল্পের প্রোজেক্ট অফিসার ময়ুরী আক্তার টুম্পা অংশগ্রহণকারীদের সাথে SRHR বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির জন্য কাজ করার পরিকল্পনা তৈরি করেন।

বক্তারা যৌন ও প্রজনন স্বাস্থ্য অধিকার (SRHR), জেন্ডার সমতা, কৈশোরকালীন স্বাস্থ্য,বাল্য-বিবাহ এবং সামাজিক সচেতনতা বিষয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়। বৈঠকের শেষে আভাসের ইয়ুথ শেয়ার-নেট প্রকল্পের প্রোজেক্ট অফিসার ময়ুরী আক্তার টুম্পা অংশগ্রহণকারীদের সাথে SRHR বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির জন্য কাজ করার পরিকল্পনা তৈরি করেন।
