Addressing young leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry professionals at the summit, Mr. Hassan highlighted the remarkable transformation of Bangladesh’s apparel industry over the past four decades. He described the sector as a story of resilience, entrepreneurship, economic progress, and social empowerment that has contributed significantly to the country’s development.

In his speech, Mr. Hassan emphasized that the next phase of Bangladesh’s industrial growth must be driven by value, knowledge, and innovation rather than traditional volume-based manufacturing. Highlighting the importance of human capital development, he called upon young leaders to enhance their skills, embrace technology, and take active roles in building a future-ready Bangladesh. He also underscored the need for stronger collaboration among government, industry, and educational institutions to bridge the existing skills gap and create opportunities for the country’s growing youth population.

Mr. Hassan praised Bangladesh’s achievements in workplace safety and green industrialization, noting the apparel sector’s commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. He encouraged the young generation to lead with creativity, courage, and purpose to build ecosystems of innovation and sustainable development.
