The Truth About “Free Student Services”: Warning & Success Story

FREE service sounds attractive — but wrong guidance can cost a student an entire intake, admission opportunity, money and valuable time.

Every day, students are approached with promises such as “Free Admission Processing,” “No Service Charge,” or “We will handle everything.” But the real question should not simply be:

“Is the service free?”

The real questions are:

Is the guidance correct? Is the university suitable for my profile? Is my documentation properly prepared? Is my funding route realistic? And is someone professionally following my case until the final stage?

We have seen students come to us after losing valuable time because they were guided toward unsuitable universities, wrong programmes or incomplete admission strategies. Some had offers but did not understand their conditions. Others did not know what needed to be completed next and eventually risked missing their intake.

Arona International is expanding, and we are looking for 5 experienced Student Counselors to join our growing team immediately.

📍 Position: Student Counselor
💼 Experience: Minimum 2 years in international student counseling
💰 Salary: BDT 15,000 – 20,000 (Maximum)

Job Responsibilities

✅ Counsel students for overseas education opportunities.
✅ Guide students in course selection, university applications, and admissions.
✅ Handle documentation, visa guidance, and interview preparation.
✅ Maintain strong relationships with students and institutional partners.
✅ Achieve monthly counseling and enrollment targets.
✅ Stay updated on admission requirements and visa policies.

Requirements

✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas education counseling.
✔ Strong knowledge of UK, USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and other study destinations.
✔ Excellent communication and counseling skills.
