In 1976 Dhaka YWCA started a play group & nursery school with two teachers ( Biva Baul & Shuvra Dayes ) & 16 children. In 1996 the YWCA Girls' High School started the journey.In 2006, YWCA college was started. This page is for the students, teachers & well-wishers of YWCA Higher Secondary Girls' School. If you are one of the hypocrites who give enormous amount of 'importance' to school/college wars and don't like this institute, please keep away.

আমরা শোকাহত!!
অতি দুঃখের সাথে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, আমাদের প্রিয় শিক্ষক আনোয়ারা বেগম গতকাল ৬ জুন, ২০২২, ভারতের একটি হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করেছেন।
তিনি ১৯৯৮ সালে বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষকতা পেশায় যোগদান করে দীর্ঘ এই ২৪ বছরে ব্যবসায় উদ্যোগ, ইসলাম ধর্ম ও অন্যান্য বিষয়ে আন্তরিকতার সাথে পাঠদান করেছেন।
আমরা তাঁর গৌরবময় জীবনের জন্য সৃষ্টিকতার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করি ও শোকার্ত পরিবারের প্রতি সমবেদনা জানাই।

আজ ১৫ অক্টোবর, ২০২০, সকালে না ফেরার দেশে চলে গেছেন ওয়াইডাব্লিউসিএ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বালিকা বিদ্যালয়ের সদা হাস্যোজ্জ্বল, সকলের প্রিয়মুখ শিক্ষক মার্থা কাকলী সরকার। ২৭/২/১৯৯৬ সাল থেকে এই প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত অবস্থায় শিক্ষক,শিক্ষার্থী ও অভিভাবক সকলের প্রিয় মানুষ হয়ে উঠেছিলেন।
দীর্ঘদিন তিনি মরণব্যাধী ক্যান্সারের সাথে হাসিমুখে লড়াই করে গেছেন।
আমরা তাঁর আত্মার চিরশান্তি কামনা করি।
তাঁর স্মরণে আজ বিদ্যালয়ের সকল কার্যক্রম (পাঠদান) বন্ধ থাকবে।
