এবছর চাতক,ইংরেজি বিভাগ সাংস্কৃতিক সংঘের উদ্যোগে প্রতিবছরের ন্যায় বিভাগীয় ইফতার মাহফিলের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। অনলাইন ক্লাস শুরু হওয়ার পূর্বে আগামী বুধবার, ২৫ শে ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে ইফতার মাহফিলটি অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

উক্ত ইফতার মাহফিলে বিভাগের সকল শিক্ষার্থীদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত উপস্থিতি ও অংশগ্রহণ একান্তভাবে কাম্য। নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে চাঁদা নিজ নিজ ব্যাচের সিআর দের কাছে প্রদান করার জন্য সবাইকে বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে।

The Department of English, Jagannath University, expresses its profound sorrow at the untimely passing of Jonayed Siddiki, former student of the Department of English (3rd Batch), Jagannath University, and an Assistant Commissioner of Bangladesh Customs.

The sudden demise of Jonayed Siddiki has deeply shocked the department and left an irreparable void in our academic community. His loss is immeasurable, and his absence will be painfully felt by his teachers, peers, and all who knew him.

At this moment of overwhelming grief, the Department of English extends its heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and bestow patience and strength upon his family to endure this profound loss. Āmīn.
