The US Embassy's EducationUSA platform held a University Fair in Bangladesh, featuring representatives from five universities. Students discussed admission programs, scholarship opportunities, and application forms. An information session on the F-1 student visa process was also organized. EducationUSA, a global network of over 430 consulting centers, provides free information on study opportunities in the US from counseling centers in Bangladesh.

সুযোগ-সুবিধা:
বৃত্তিপ্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীরা সাড়ে তিন বছরে নানা সুবিধা পাবেন।
* শিক্ষার্থীকে কোনো টিউশন ফি দিতে হবে না;
* জীবনযাত্রার খরচ চালানোর জন্য ২৫ হাজার ১৫০ পাউন্ড পাবেন শিক্ষার্থীরা। প্রতিবছর মিলবে এ অর্থ;
* প্রথম ৩ বছরের জন্য বছরে ২ হাজার পাউন্ড মিলবে ভোগ্য তহবিলের আওতায়;
* গ্র্যাজুয়েট স্কুলের ইভেন্টগুলোতে অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ থাকছে।

আবেদন যেভাবে:
প্রেসিডেন্টস পিএইচডি স্কলারশিপের জন্য আলাদা করে আবেদন ফরম নেই। অনলাইন ভর্তি পদ্ধতির মাধ্যমে আবেদনপত্র জমা দিতে হবে। ভর্তিপ্রক্রিয়ার জন্য কিছু নির্দেশ মানতে হবে। আবেদনের শেষ তারিখ আগামী ৬ নভেম্বর।

⚡️Press release on the transfer from Ukrainian to Russian universities for foreign students

Bangladeshi students who are no longer in the position to pursue higher education in Ukraine have an opportunity to complete their studies in respective universities of the Russian Federation.

Bangladeshi students willing to enroll in the proposed transfer scheme shall provide the following information to the Embassy of Russia in Dhaka:

🔹The desired Russian university and the area of studies;

🔹A copy of the document confirming admission to the respective Ukrainian university;

🔹A copy of the student’s ID card and the record book confirming the progress insofar.

In honor of Women’s History Month we are highlighting the service of Ruth Bryan Owen, America’s first woman diplomat. She served as minister to Denmark from 1933 to 1936. Owen represented Florida in the House of Representatives from 1929 to 1933 and was an alternate U.S. representative to the United Nations in 1949. This portrait of Owen is part of a collection that is housed in the Diplomatic Reception Rooms at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.
