Are you interested to compete in an event where you may get to visit China for 2 weeks? Seeds for the Future initiative of Huawei gives you exactly that opportunity.
Huawei is coming to EWU campus on 19th April to select participants from EWU for the Seeds for the Future initiative.
If you are interested, register as soon as possible for 19th April selection using the google form link at the bottom. Read the following para for more information.
"Seeds for the Future is an initiative that aims to help cultivate young talent, ensuring that the tech-savvy and change-resilient young people have the skills and mindsets needed to be competitive in the workplaces of the future. Huawei’s Seeds for the Future scholarship program sends selected students to China on a two-week study trip. They visit Huawei HQ in Shenzhen and research facilities in Beijing, take Mandarin classes, and go on cultural excursions to iconic sites such as the Great Wall and Forbidden City.
This year, Huawei will select approximately 3-4 students from EWU, initially competing with the other top universities in Bangladesh and then globally.
This is basically an idea-pitching competition- the ideas that can solve real-life problems. Details will be addressed in the upcoming roadshow on 19th April."

We are soliciting help from our alumni to explain to students the purpose and the need for different EEE courses. Summer semester will start from 6 May. We prefer that an alumnus, working in a particular technical area, will go to a class (3rd/4th year) related to that area as a guest lecturer and discuss from his/her industrial perspective the utility of the course in the professional life. The ideal person should have a few years' of industrial experience in that field.

Name, year of graduation, courses interested in, present position and company name, brief description of the professional background.

This idea is an outcome of the alumni get-together that we had in the department last semester. We are looking forward to having our alumni getting involved in our academic activities.
