We, the BAFSDGT family, celebrate World Environment Day 2026 🌱

The environment doesn't just mean the atmosphere around us; it's the foundation of our existence in reality. Every breath we take, every drop of water we drink, and every meal we enjoy depends on the health of our planet. Yet today, pollution, deforestation, climate change, and the excessive use of natural resources are putting immense pressure on the Earth.

World Environment Day reminds us that protecting nature is not only the responsibility of governments or organizations. Even a small initiative counts. It is a shared duty that begins with small actions in our daily lives. Planting a tree, reducing plastic use, conserving water and energy, recycling waste, and spreading environmental awareness may seem like simple steps, but together they create a powerful impact.

The Earth has given humanity countless gifts: fertile land, clean air, beautiful forests, rivers, oceans, and an incredible diversity of life. It is our responsibility to ensure that these treasures remain protected for future generations. A greener and healthier planet is possible when individuals, communities, and nations work together with commitment and care.

We often get nostalgic thinking about our childhood connected with nature, but we leave carbon footprints on the world; the world isn't happy to generate pleasurable moments for humans.

On this World Environment Day, let us renew our promise to respect nature, adopt sustainable habits, and become guardians of our planet. Every action matters, and every effort counts.

Eid ul-Adha is a reminder of the power of faith and community. This Eid-ul-Adha let us reflect on the values of sacrifice, gratitude, and community.
As Eid ul-Adha is not only about sacrifice of animals, but also mainly about sacrificing pride, ego, and attachment for the sake of faith and obedience to Allah. Therefore, a story comes from Prophet Ibrahim and his willingness to sacrifice his son after receiving Allah’s command in a dream. But before the sacrifice happened, Allah replaced his son with a ram showing to him that sincerity and obedience mattered more than the act itself.
“Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you.” Surah Al-Hajj [22:37]
This verse beautifully reminds us of all Muslim's that the true purpose of Qurbani (Eid-Ul-Adha) is purity of the heart and devotion, not just the ritual itself.
