Yesterday, / I woke up/ late.
I was/ in a hurry./
I left home/ without thinking./
When I reached the bus stop,/ I missed the bus./
I felt disappointed./
To my surprise,/ one of my friends/ ran into me./
He was driving/to the office./
He smiled/ and gave me a ride./
Luckily, /we arrived just in time./
I attended my meeting/ successfully./
From that day on,/ I decided to wake up early.
Finally, / I learned my lesson.

What is the Chunking Method?
========================
Chunking is one of the fastest ways to improve English fluency.
Instead of speaking word by word, native speakers speak in
meaningful groups of words (i.e. chunks). Training yourself to
think and speak in chunks makes your speech smoother, more
natural, and more confident.

What does Chunking Method focus on?
===============================
The Chunking Method focuses on key vocabulary, common
phrases, and essential grammar, allowing you to quickly build a
functional understanding of the language. Over time, these small
and consistent efforts lead you to significant improvements in
fluency.

How to practise with Chunking Method?
===============================
Practice every day for minimum 10 minutes and
create a short story with the chunks. One story has been given for your
understanding. Read out loud each chunk minimum for 10
times in one breath by giving pause only at the slash (/).

Transformational journey of Kazi Nayeem Siddiqee with LLi.
"I used to tremble, feel shy, and go completely blank trying to speak in front of just five people," said Kazi Nayeem Siddiqee. He is a testament to the transformative power of communication and leadership training. Through LLi’s rigorous environment, he developed the confidence to command large auditoriums, ultimately transitioning from a student to a Senior English Language Teacher and Coach who has trained thousands of learners at LLi. Kazi’s transformative journey began in December 2016 when he joined LLi at the start of his 1st year of university life. LLi didn't just teach him English; it gave him the platform to gain confidence to deliver powerful speeches to huge auditoriums and provided the hands-on leadership experience that would define his career.

‎His academic record is nothing short of exceptional. Kazi completed his BA in Islamic Studies from the University of Dhaka (DU), securing 1st Class 2nd Position (CGPA 3.88), and followed it with an MA in Islamic Studies, achieving 1st Class 1st Position (CGPA 3.99). Expanding his horizons globally, he moved to Canada, where he completed a second Master’s degree in Religion, Culture, and Global Justice from Wilfrid Laurier University, focusing his research on Islam and Peacebuilding.

‎"I am grateful to LLi for shaping me into a leader, a speaker, and a teacher," Kazi says. "Everything is possible when we make a combined effort. I pray LLi continues to impact the future generation just as it did mine, and I am always proud to stand with LLi."

‎Kazi joins LLi as a Mentor and Coach for developing the new generation of youth and opening the opportunities at home and abroad. Kazi is also the founder of KNS Academy.

Several European countries are rethinking classroom technology and returning to traditional learning methods.

Rather than increasing screen time, countries including Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Italy, and Denmark are placing renewed emphasis on printed textbooks, handwriting, and reading from paper.

The change is based on growing research suggesting that writing by hand and reading physical books can improve memory, concentration, and reading comprehension compared with excessive use of digital devices. Sweden led the shift in 2023 by reducing mandatory tablet use in schools and investing heavily in new printed textbooks.

Denmark has also committed significant funding to replace tablets with books and plans to make schools completely mobile-free by 2027. Meanwhile, France and Italy have introduced restrictions on smartphones in primary and middle schools while encouraging traditional note-taking and paper-based assignments.

Across Scandinavia, Norway reports that most primary schools have removed mobile phones from classrooms, and Finland has introduced similar measures. Together, these initiatives reflect a growing movement to balance technology with proven learning methods that support students’ attention, understanding, and long-term retention.

Asad joins LLi as a Mentor and an Executive Member of the LLi English Club.
‎In this role, he will guide tertiary-level students and young professionals, facilitating their development in English language proficiency, communication, presentation, leadership skills, and study abroad preparation through LLi.
‎
‎Asad is an alumnus of the LLi English Speaking and Presentation (ESP) Course, which he completed in 2007 while he was a Class VIII student. The intensive course was conducted at a local institution by a team of LLi delegates. Reflecting on his experience, Asad says, "This course was a turning point in my life, Alhamdulillah."
‎
‎Later in 2016, he joined as an Instructor of LLi and served as one of the Directors till 2021. He is one of the Co-founders of LLi.
‎Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) at Dhaka University. In addition, he serves as the Head Instructor of the Spoken English and IELTS programmes at Dhaka English Lab. He is also a highly regarded English teacher at a renowned English-medium school in Dhaka, where he is widely appreciated for his expertise and dedication to English language education.

‎Imran Ahsan joins as the Mentor of Lodestar Leadership Institute - লৌডস্টার লিডারশিপ ইনস্টিটিউট. He will guide tertiary level students and young professionals and will facilitate English language teaching, communication, presentation and leadership skills and study abroad journey with LLi.

‎Imran Ahsan is an alumnus of LLi English Speaking and Presentation (ESP) Skills Signature Course. He had accomplished this course back in 2009 at the LLi Farmgate Campus soon after completing his SSC Exam. Imran said "ESP Course was a life changer for me, Alhamdulillah."
‎
‎Currently, He is a PhD student at West Virginia University specializing in Political Methodology and the Politics of Science and Technology, with a current research focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Government. Originally from Bangladesh, Imran brings a wealth of experience in navigating international student life, academic research, and community leadership.
