7th Executive Committee of BUBT EEE Club officially handed over responsibilities to the new committee. The program was attended by the President of the 7th Executive Committee along with other executive members.

BUBT Achieves Top National Position in SCImago Institutions Rankings 2026

Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) has achieved a remarkable distinction in the SCImago Institutions Rankings 2026, emerging as the top-ranked (1st) private university in Bangladesh in both the Engineering (overall ranking category) and All Subject Areas (research category). BUBT has secured the 11th position among all public and private universities nationwide, with a global rank of 1766 in Engineering and 4598 across all subject areas. This outstanding accomplishment highlights BUBT’s rapid advancement in research excellence, innovation, and global academic visibility, positioning it as a leading research-driven institution in the country.

The achievement has been attributed to visionary leadership, strategic planning, and the dedicated efforts of faculty members, researchers, and Research Assistants. The BUBT Research Graduate School (RGS) has played a pivotal role in fostering a research-oriented environment, encouraging publications in reputed journals, and enhancing overall academic productivity.

Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Professor Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, expressed his appreciation to Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman, Dean of BUBT Research Graduate School, as well as all researchers and Research Assistants, acknowledging their collective contributions to this success. EEE Day 2026, organized by BUBT EEE CLUB, was a vibrant and memorable daylong tour filled with get-together, picnic, entertainment.

The event featured a variety of exciting activities including games, sports, swimming, and many engaging segments that brought everyone closer. We were honored by the presence of our respected faculty members, and it was truly wonderful to see faculty, alumni, and students all come together to celebrate the day with great enthusiasm and spirit.
