First of all, thanks to our honorable judge for giving me the opportunity, today I will talk about worshipping Allah during sickness
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship me.
(Surah Adh-Dhariyat-56)
worship is not restricted to praying and reading the Qur'an, Rather, it can be in the form of obeying your parents, taking care of your siblings, and looking after your neighbors. These acts of worship can be during times of ease and hardship.
Allah said in the Qur'an"
He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed. (Surah Al Muik-2)
This life test indicates when a believer is suffering, it does not mean Allah doesn't love them. Rather, it is the opposite. The Prophet Said
Indeed greater reward comes with greater trial. and indeed, when Allah loves a people he subjects them to trials, so whoever is content, then for him is pleasure, and whoever is discontent, then for him is wrath. (Jamie At-Tirmidhi 2396)
All of this shows that it is important for a believer to always have a good opinion of Allah. Allah doesn't want to make us suffer; He wants to help us become better and raise our honor.
Allah makes it easy for us to worship whenever it gets really difficult.
For example, you can pray while sitting or lying down. If you can't use water to perform wudhu (ablution), you can do Taymmum, Which is a dry purification using clean soil.
Fasting during Ramadan is also important, but if you are too ill to fast, you can make up the days later when you are well. if fasting would make your illness worse, it is better to delay it
In sickness, it is also important to keep a positive opinion of Allah, The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that there is no disease that Allah has created without also creating its treatment, We should trust in Allah and make Du'a to ask for His help and healing.
Finally, remember that Allah is always with us, even in our hardest times. We can find strength, peace, and many rewards by continuing to worship Him, even when we are not feeling well.
