Critical thinking is one of the most potent ways to make anything easier and faster. Let me explain with examples — but first, here are the essential things we need to become better critical thinkers:

1️⃣ Data matters.
Without data, what are you really thinking about? To reach a decision, you need input — numbers, facts, context — to process and analyze before drawing a logical conclusion.

2️⃣ Avoid false correlations.
We often blame unrelated things for specific outcomes. While some actions are connected, not everything is. Learn to separate ideas and analyze them individually — this opens up new possibilities.

3️⃣ Don’t decide based on mere concepts.
Sometimes, rumours or half-truths shape our opinions. But opinions are not facts. If 10 people in a group of 30 say “Sultan is bad,” that doesn’t make it true — maybe 95,000 others see him positively. Perspective matters.

4️⃣ Challenge your own assumptions.
A true critical thinker doesn’t aim to “win” arguments — they aim to find truth. Maybe someone says the design market is dead, but before believing that, analyze why they failed. Their weakness might be communication, not the market itself.

5️⃣ Consider second and third-order effects.
Most people only think about direct benefits. For instance, switching ad spend from Facebook to X (Twitter) because it’s trending sounds smart — but will your target audience actually be there? Probably not.

In UX design, this is precisely what we do — think critically to make complex problems simple. But I’ve noticed the same principle works in life too.

If you consistently apply these five ideas in your daily thinking, your outcomes will improve by at least 30% more than average.

৮ ঘন্টা কে তিনটা 'এফ' 'এইচ' এবং 'এস' এ ভাগ করতে হবে -
৩ এ ফ - ফ্যামিলি, ফ্রেন্ডস এবং ফেইথ (ইবাদাত)
৩ এইচ - হেলথ, হাইজিন এবং হবি।
৩ এস - সউল (আত্মার শান্তি), সিম্প্যাথি (মানুষের জন্য), স্মাইল।
