আগামী ২৯/০৮/২০১৪ (শুক্রবার), বাংলাদেশে এই প্রথম স্কুল পর্যায়ে, FIIEAP আয়োজিত নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি ও প্রযুক্তি বিষয়ক Conference, KCoRE (Kids Conference on Renewable Energy) আয়োজিত হতে যাচ্ছে। এর উদ্দেশ্য স্কুল পর্যায় থেকেই শিক্ষার্থীদের নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি ও প্রযুক্তি বিষয়ে inspire করে তোলা এবং বিজ্ঞান গবেষণায় মনোনিবেশ করা। আমরা জানি, আজ বিশ্বব্যাপী নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি ও প্রযুক্তি (Renewable Energy & Technology) আলোড়ন। আগামী ভবিষ্যতে তেল, গ্যাস ও কয়লা শেষ হয়ে যাবে। তখন বিশ্বব্যাপী শক্তি ঘাটতি বা Energy Crisis দেখা দিবে। যার কারনে উন্নত দেশগুলো নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি ও প্রযুক্তি বা Renewable Energy & Technology নিয়ে কাজ শুরু করেছে। উন্নত বিশ্বের স্কুল পর্যায়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা, আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীদের তুলনায় Technology –এর দিক থেকে Develop. তাই আগামী প্রজন্মকে Science & Technology –এর দিক থেকে উন্নত করার জন্য FIIEAP (Foundation of Innovation, Idea Exchange & Academic Program) –এ ক্ষুদ্র প্রয়াস ।

Renewable Energy Technology, Masters level, Session: 2014-2015

Apply Procedure

The application form can be collected from Institute of Renewable Energy (IRE), Dhaka or downloadable from www.univdhaka.edu.

Applicants can collect and submit the filled-in application form along with counterfoil of Tk. 500/- (Five hundred only) deposit at IRE A/C No. 3410501/3, Agrani Bank Ltd., Dhaka University Branch Saturday-Thursday from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm.

Admission Requirements

Applicant must have 4 years Bachelor Degree in Science or a three years Bachelor Degree with one year Masters Degree in Science.
Candidate should have minimum CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00 (or 2nd class approved by the equivalence committee of IRE).

Nuclear Engineering, Masters level, Session: 2014-15

Apply Procedure

Application forms can be collected from the office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Science Cafeteria (1st Floor), Curzon Hall, University of Dhaka on payment of Tk. 750/- only to the Bank Account: Chairman, Nuclear Engineering Department, A/C - 0200001553323, Agrani Bank Ltd., Dhaka University Branch (Curzon Hall).

The completed application form, along with an attested copy of transcripts of all previous examination and one copies of passport size & two copies of 30*35mm photographs and receipt of bank deposit must be submitted to the Office of the Dean no later than 25th August 2013.

An admission test covering basic physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & General Knowledge in science will be held on 6th September 2013 at 10:00 am at Curzon Hall Examination Center.

The selected candidates will be called for an interview before final decision for admission is made.

The details of the admission procedure will be available at the office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka and in the website (www.univdhaka.edu).

Students who have completed four-year Bachelor's degree or three year Bachelor's and one year Master's degree in subjects mentioned below are eligible to apply.

The students must secure a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent in any of the following subjects: Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Information Technology.

Apply Procedure

Step 1: Depositing Application Processing Fee. Pay application processing fee in any of the following ways:
* Electronic Money Order by Post Office - Send Tk. 750/- (seven hundred fifty only) through e-money order from any post office of Bangladesh and mention followings in issue form: (a) Beneficiary Name: Registrar. (b) Beneficiary Address: BUP, Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka-1216. (c) Beneficiary Mobile Number: 1000. After deposition you will get a 16 digit TPIN ID in your mobile phone. Mention this TPIN ID number and deposition date in web application form.

* Trust Bank Ltd - Deposit (cash) Tk. 750/- (seven hundred fifty only) at any Trust Bank branch to Admission Account, BUP A/C number 0028-0310036572 and mention the trace number and deposition date in web application form. (Please ask the person at bank counter to post/transfer the money immediately and get your trace number)

Step 2: Application Submission. Submit your application through internet as follows: From BUP website (www.bup.edu.bd) click on "Evening MBA Admission 2014-2015"
Go to CURRENT OPENING, Choose your desired program then Click on Read More & Apply Online, then click on Apply Online.
Fill up the required information then click on Next Step.
Get account activation link in given email address (don't forget to check your spam box) and click on that.
Get login user id and password in a confirmation reply in given email address.
Log on with that user id and password and fill up all fields and click on Submit button.
If you want to submit later use Save button for temporary save. You can edit continuously until the verification is completed. If you use Save button, before Submission, first click on Edit information button.

Check the following information periodically by login to your account:
a) Verification Status.
b) Print Admit Card (Need to be carried during admission test).
c) Admission date - time and Seat plan.
d) Result - as per merit position.

Admission Requirements

(1) Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any field.

(2) Minimum 7 points calculated based on the results of past public examinations.

(3) Not more than one 3rd division/class or less than GPA/CGPA 2.50 in any public examination.

* SSC/equivalent marks sheet (Photocopy)
* HSC/equivalent marks sheet (Photocopy)
