On 17 April 2026, the alumni of the Department of Civil Engineering, Uttara University gathered on campus for a warm and vibrant cake-cutting ceremony, marking the official countdown to the much-anticipated Reunion 2026.
The event was organized by the Civil Engineering Alumni Society with the support of the Department of Civil Engineering. A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of the official reunion logo, representing unity, pride, and lifelong connections among alumni.
The event was graced by Professor Dr. Md. Sultanul Islam, Dean, School of Civil, Environment & Industrial Engineering (SoCEIE), and Md. Ashraful Alam, Assistant Professor and Acting Chairman of the Department, along with enthusiastic alumni from various batches.

It is with deep sorrow that the Department of Civil Engineering, Uttara University announces the passing of Amit Hasan, Batch 39-A (ID: 2261381044), who died after a battle with Pneumonia complications. (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un)
He will be remembered for his sincerity and calm nature. We pray to Almighty Allah to forgive him and grant him eternal peace in Jannatul Firdous.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and pray for strength and patience for them.

ঘুড়ি মাঞ্জা যাই হোক, আপনার কেরামতি দেখাতে এবার হবে মোকাবেলা, হবে ঘুড়ি নিয়ে হাড্ডা হাড্ডি লড়াই।
