Excellence in Legal Education & Research Since its inception, CILJSA has laid the groundwork for academic innovation and legal empowerment.
The CDLSP Institute of Law & Juridical Science of Asia (CILJSA) is an academic and research-oriented wing of the Center for Development of Legal Services & Policy Standards (CDLSP), founded in 2022. Our vision is to build a new generation of legal thinkers, reformers, and advocates across Asia by fostering inclusive, interdisciplinary, and globally relevant legal education. Guided by the motto "Ju
stice through Education, Empowerment through Law", CILJSA aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of law and social justice. Rooted in the values of academic excellence and social responsibility, CILJSA contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. With this in mind, the institute is committed to empowering students, practitioners, and researchers from diverse backgrounds through accessible legal education and dynamic policy engagement. Our Bachelor and Master’s programs (upcoming) will be designed to meet regional legal challenges while maintaining global academic standards. These degree programs will emphasize comparative legal systems, human rights, environmental law, legal technology, and alternative dispute resolution, preparing graduates to respond effectively to 21st-century legal issues. Currently, the institute is preparing to launch its Diploma Programs, which mark our official entry into specialized legal education. These diploma offerings will focus on high-demand areas such as Human Rights Law, Environmental Justice, Gender and Child Law, Digital & Cyber Law, and Transitional Justice in post-conflict societies. These programs are tailored for legal professionals, civil society actors, students, and policy practitioners looking to expand their expertise in specific domains. Looking ahead, CILJSA plans to evolve into a fully-fledged academic institution offering certified undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, regional legal clinics, transnational research collaborations, and policy labs. Our future roadmap includes virtual learning platforms, continuing legal education (CLE), and scholarships for marginalized communities to ensure equitable access to legal education. With a core belief in legal empowerment as a pathway to sustainable development, CILJSA stands as a beacon for transformative legal education and research in Asia. We invite scholars, learners, and changemakers to join us in building a just, informed, and inclusive society through the power of law.
