লাল-সাদা পোশাক, রঙিন আলপনা, আর ঢাকের তালে ভোরের শহরটা আজ যেন অন্যরকম লাগে। পান্তা-ইলিশের গন্ধে, মেলার ভিড়ে, আর পরিচিত মুখগুলোর হাসিতে হঠাৎই ফিরে আসে ছোটবেলার সেই আনন্দ। শহর বদলায়, মানুষ বড় হয়, কিন্তু এই একটা দিনেই মনে হয় আমরা আবার ছোট হয়ে যাই, শিকড়ের কাছে, মাটির কাছে, নিজেদের কাছে।
এই নববর্ষে আবার মনে হয়, আমরা যত দূরেই যাই, শিকড়টা থেকে যায় মাটির কাছেই। নদীর মতো সময় বয়ে যায়, কিন্তু সংস্কৃতির এই উষ্ণতা, এই মিলন,প্রতিবারই নতুন করে বাঁচতে শেখায়। শুভ নববর্ষ।
