"For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others."
- Nelson Mandela

Independence is the ultimate liberation- a total release from the chains of subjugation. It is the power to act, think, and dream without the shadow of external force. March 26 stands as a monumental day when the people of Bangladesh claimed a destiny that belonged to them alone, born of great courage and a refusal to settle for anything less than total freedom.

On this day, we honour the brave souls who stood fearless in the face of death, sacrificing everything for the birth of our nation. Their devotion is etched into our history, inspiring us to uphold the values of unity and justice.

On this glorious occasion, Adamjee Cantonment College English Language and Literature Club wishes everyone a meaningful Independence Day. May the spirit of our nation remain strong, and may our red and green flag forever fly high as a symbol of pride and hope.

“No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women.” — Michelle Obama

Women are the heartbeat of progress—resilient, visionary and endlessly powerful. Within them lives a rare harmony of courage and compassion, wisdom and determination. Every day, women step forward to challenge barriers, rewrite narratives and prove that strength can wear both kindness and fire. Yet history reminds us that inequality, unheard voices and limited opportunities have often marked their journeys. Empowering women is therefore not merely a celebration of achievement—it is a commitment to building a world where every woman can dream freely, lead confidently and live without fear of limitation.

On this International Women's Day, The English Language & Literature Club of Adamjee Cantonment College proudly honours the courage, resilience and brilliance of women everywhere. We stand with every woman who dares to rise, speak and lead. Their strength fuels progress, their voices reshape the future, and their determination continues to inspire generations.
