MIST Aeronautics and Astronautics Club (MAAC) is excited to announce that our exclusive hands on workshop is finally ready for liftoff! Due to some unforeseen issues, we couldn’t begin the class earlier, but we’re cleared for launch now.

📸 Highlights from the MAAC Quiz Competition organized by the MIST Aeronautics and Astronautics Club.
The MAAC Club successfully organized an engaging Quiz Competition that brought together some of the most inquisitive minds of the department. Participants showcased their depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for aerospace and aviation, making the event a true celebration of intellect and teamwork.

The prize-giving ceremony was honored by the presence of Gp Capt Toyobur Rahman, afwc, psc, PhD, who handed over the awards to the winners and appreciated the participants for their dedication and spirit of learning.

Important Notice!

Many enthusiastic students from other universities are willing to join the "Workshop on Design, Manufacturing and Piloting of UAV" by MIST Aeronautics and Astronautics Club (MAAC), but joining on July 29th is next to impossible for them due to some unavoidable commitments. As per as their request, MAAC has decided to post-pond the event on July 29th and this will eventually happen around Mid August. The scope of the workshop will increase like hands on training for manufacturing and piloting. Stay tuned for more updates and for any enquiry, please comment below or send messages on our page.

Huge congratulations to 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗵𝗱𝗼𝗼𝘁 for their outstanding performance at the 29th Annual Design Build Fly Competition in Tucson, AZ, USA !

They secured an overall 𝟯𝟵𝘁𝗵 position among 159 teams participating from all over the world, with an impressive Mission Score of 𝟮.𝟮𝟵 (Best in South Asia) and an Overall Score of 𝟭𝟳𝟮.𝟮𝟬 (Second Best in South Asia) - marking the best performance ever by the MIST DBF Team!

This year’s mission involved carrying Fuel Tanks and deploying a Glider that had to autonomously return to a designated point after mid-air release !

On behalf of all MAAC members, we’re incredibly proud and excited for what's ahead. Keep soaring higher, Team Meghdoot! 💙💛

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of an engaging and enlightening career talk session with the distinguished composite engineer, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐡𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧. His insights and expertise have greatly motivated aspiring engineers to delve into the exciting world of composites.
