🎉 Workshop 3: Winning the Room has been Successfully Concluded!
On 26 July 2026, the Criminology Debating & Extempore Forum (CDEF) successfully organized the third workshop of its The Art of Arguing series, Workshop 3: Winning the Room.
The session was conducted by our resource person, Mahamud Khalid, General Secretary of CDEF, focusing on the psychology of persuasion, audience engagement, logical argumentation, handling challenging questions, and communicating with confidence and impact. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants explored how to build trust, connect with diverse audiences, and transform their words into influence.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our moderator, Fahin Rahman Aungkita Ma'am, for her valuable guidance and support throughout the session. We are also thankful to our President, Md. Mujahid Islam, for his continuous encouragement and contribution to making the workshop a success.
We were especially honoured by the presence of our respected Director of CDEF and Chair of the Department of Criminology, Professor Rezaul Karim Shohag Sir, whose inspiring remarks at the end of the programme truly energized and motivated our participants to continue developing their communication and leadership skills.
