The Golden Rules of Defensive Driving

To become a good defensive driver, you should follow these five rules while being on the road:

Use Signals: Turn signals or indicators allow others to know about your plans of making any turns or changing lanes. Use these turn signals even when others around you are not using them.
Keep a Safe Distance: While following the car in front of you, always keep a safe distance. Even if others cut you in front, keep dropping back and maintain a safe distance.
Avoid Tailgaters: Tailgaters can often be annoying. Although you may urge to resist them, please don't do it and try avoiding them at all costs.
Be Courteous with Your Vehicle's Lights: Sometimes, people forget to turn off their lights, and as a result, their vehicle's lights shine directly in your eyes. Please resist the urge to turn your lights up to teach them a lesson during these moments.
Being Respectful with Slow Drivers: Old age or physical disability can slow some drivers. Therefore, be respectful of their conditions.

Who are the Aggressive Drivers?

While on the road, you can easily identify aggressive drivers. They are extremely impatient and usually like to tailgate and often cut in front of the other drivers. In their minds, driving on the road is like participating in a driving contest, and they are very much determined to win that contest at all costs. If you think you are becoming an aggressive driver, you should start thinking about the importance of the lives of other drivers around you. Constantly rethink your decision while tailgating or cutting another vehicle because your aggressive actions can cost someone their life.

Defensive driving does not mean driving with quick reflexes or super mental capabilities. In fact, defensive driving is all about clear thinking, self-education, awareness, and maintaining a safe attitude while being on the road. A defensive driver not only cares about himself but also about others while being on the road. He has some characteristics that differentiate him from other reckless and careless drivers around him. If you want to become a good defensive driver, you should try developing the following habits.

*Getting knowledge about driving better
*Becoming more alert on the road
*Expecting all the unexpected situations that can *happen on the road
*Making correct judgments
*Being skillful enough to drive safely
All of these habits are the necessary attributes and are found in all the defensive drivers.

2.Before getting on the bridge.
3.At every road turning

আর তাই নিচের সহজ কয়েকটি ধাপ অনুসরণ করে আপনার গাড়ির ব্যাটারিকে ভালো রাখুন -

১) ব্যাটারির টার্মিনাল গুলোতে কোন প্রকার ক্ষয় আছে কিনা ভালো করে পরীক্ষা করে দেখুন।

২) ব্যাটারির টার্মিনালগুলো নিয়মিত পানি ও বেকিং সোডা দিয়ে পরিস্কার করুন।

৩) নিশ্চিত করুন, টার্মিনালের প্রান্তগুলো যেন শুকনো এবং জেলি দ্বারা আবৃত থাকে।

বিশেষ পরামর্শ - ব্যাটারি ডিসকানেক্ট (Disconnect) করার জন্য সবসময় নেগেটিভ প্রান্ত আগে খুলবেন আর পুনরায় কানেক্ট করার সময় পজেটিভ প্রান্ত আগে সংযোগ দেবেন।
