🇺🇸আমেরিকা একটি বিশাল দেশ। নিউ ইয়র্ক' মানেই " USA" না। 🤔শুধুমাত্র "নিউইয়র্ক" দিয়ে USA কে বিচার করবেন না, নতুন যারা USA যাবেন, দয়া করে New York এ স্হায়ী বসবাসের চিন্তা করবেন না। জীবনে অনেক পিছিয়ে যাবেন। সেজন্যই বলছি, সবকিছুর আগে Driving শিখুন, learn how to do parallel parking. সম্ভব হলে বাংলাদেশ থেকেই driving শিখে আসুন। driving শুধু ১ জনের শিখলে হবে না। ১৮ বৎসর বা তার উপরের পরিবারের প্রতিটি (each and everyone) সদস্যকেও গাড়ী চালানো শিখতে হবে।আমেরিকাতে যতটি মাথা, তার চেয়ে গাড়ীর সংখ্যা আরও বেশী। কারণ প্রতিটি লোকের অন্তত ১টি করে গাড়ী আছে, কারো কারো প্রতিজনের ৩/৪টি বা তারও বেশী গাড়ী রয়েছে। এখন আন্দাজ করুন গাড়ীর সংখ্যাটি কত হতে পারে। New York ছাড়া অন্য stateগুলোতে স্হায়ী বসবাসের চিন্তা করুন। আমেরিকাকে ভালভাবে চিনতে হলে New York থেকে বের হয়ে আসুন।

আরেকটি জিনিস মনে রাখবেন ঢাকা যেমন ঔখবাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় শহর এবং ঢাকাকে কেন্দ্র করেই বাংলাদেশের সবকিছু। কিন্তু আমেরিকাতে এরকম নয়। New York আমেরিকার সবচেয়ে বড় শহর, এটা সত্য কিন্তু আমেরিকার সবকিছু New York কেন্দ্রিক নয়। New York এ যেসব সুযোগ সুবিধা, আমেরিকার সব stateএই এগুলো রয়েছে (শুধুমাত্র পরিবহন ব্যবস্হা ছাড়া)। যেমন আমেরিকার ৫০টি stateএই বিশ্বমানের হাসপাতাল থেকে শুরু করে, বিশ্বমানের স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালযসহ সবকিছুই রয়েছে। তাই আমেরিকার যে কেন stateএ নির্ভয়ে থাকতে পারেন। সব state এর নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্হা একই রকম। বাংলাদেশে যেমন ভাল চিকিৎসা এবং ভাল পড়াশুনাসহ সবকিছুর জন্য ঢাকা আসতে হয়, আমেরিকাতে এগুলোর জন্য New York আসতে হবে না।সুতরাং feel free to stay anywhere in USA.

মোটামুটি সস্তা বাড়ীঘরের জন্যঃ Arizona, Oregon, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee.

দামী বাড়ীঘরের জন্যঃ New York City, New Jersey, California, Seattle (Washington), Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut. Total eastern side of America are expensive.

Lot of Bangladeshi people lives: New York City, Michigan, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, California,

Asheville (North Carolina) is a beautiful city but you can rarely find any Bangladeshi there. It’s scenic beauty is wonderful.

The states where only few Bangladeshis but these states are beautiful and living costs could be low:
Utah, Iowa, Montana, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Dakota and South Dakota.

ঠান্ডা আবহাওয়ার জন্যঃ Buffalo( New York), Michigan, Minnesota, New York City, New Jersey and entire eastern side of America, Chicago, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin.

For job: Almost all states have jobs available but I live in Michigan and I know Michigan has a lot of jobs available. But I don’t have any clear idea about the jobs in other states. But no states are bad about jobs.

আমেরিকা খুব একটি সুন্দর দেশ, মানবাধিকারের দেশ, আইনের শাসনের দেশ, সুচিকিৎসার দেশ, ভালোমানের পড়াশুনা পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতার দেশ, সত্য কথা বলার দেশ, প্রচুর চাকুরী পাবার দেশএবং কঠোর পরিশ্রমের দেশ।আপনি যদি সৎ থাকেন, পুরো আমেরিকা আপনার জন্য। অসৎ, অলস এবং আরামপ্রিয়দের জন্য আমেরিকাতে না আসাই ভাল। আরামপ্রিয়দের জন্য সর্বোত্তম স্হান হলো বাংলাদেশ। তবে আমেরিকাতেও কিছু দুর্নীতি আছে কিন্তু কোন রকম দুর্নীতির জন্য যদি একবার ধরা পড়েন, তাহলে জীবন শেষ।

এসব তথ্য আপনাদের উপকারে আসলে আমার লেখাটি ধন্য হবে।

Hot off the press! Here, we study the spillovers of US real uncertainty and financial uncertainty shocks on Euro area economic activity in an SVAR framework. We find that a rise in US real or financial uncertainty triggers a decline in industrial production and an increase in credit spreads in the Euro area. The adverse effects of financial uncertainty shocks on Euro area industrial production are larger than those stemming from real uncertainty shocks (−0.8% versus −0.4%) due to a larger extent of financial friction. The contribution of US financial uncertainty shocks, vis-à-vis US real uncertainty shocks, to the Euro area is quantitatively more important.

The last call for Mobilitas Pluss mobility grants opened on 1 January 2020
The Estonian Research Council (ETAg) offers grants for postdoctoral researchers and researchers who have been abroad for several years to carry out their research project in Estonian R&D institutions, companies or higher education institutions. The call for Mobilitas Pluss mobility grants opened from 1 January to 31 January 2020 at 17.00 (EET).
Postdoctoral researchers grant is aimed at the researchers who have obtained their doctoral degree abroad no more than five years prior to the closing date of the call.
Returning researchers grant is for the researchers who have carried out their postdoctoral research project abroad and wish to return to Estonia.
The grant amount for experimental project is €4,500 per month and for non-experimental project €4,250 per month. The host institution’s own contribution is up to 5% of the grant. The researchers can apply for additional relocation allowance if they have not lived, worked, or studied 180 days immediately prior to the closing date of the call in Estonia. The relocation allowance is €4,000 for projects lasting under two years and €5,500 for projects lasting for two years. The grant period is 12-24 months.
Grants can be applied for via the Estonian Research Information System (www.etis.ee). The results of the call will be announced in June 2020 at the latest. The projects must start within six months after the funding decision and the researcher has to work full-time for the host institution.
In the 2020 call, approximately 20 postdoctoral researchers and 10 returning researchers will be funded.
