Valuable job interview tips to help you prepare and increase your chances of success:

*Before the Interview*

*During the Interview*

1. *Be on time*: Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the interview to show your punctuality and respect for the interviewer's time.

2. Your high school and primary details if you have attended college
3. Your date of birth.
4. Your religion.
5. Your full home address. just the LG and state is okay.
6. Your hobbies. Nobody is going to shortlist your CV because you like playing games.
7. Lastly remove your ID number.
8. Irrelevant work experience. Example you are applying for nutrition job and you indicate that you have been working as a sales executive of Nivea.

Irrelevant stuff you include to make your CV long might in most cases work against you.

# আপনি কেন চাকরির জন্য উপযুক্ত ?

বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে পাশ করে অনেক ছাত্রছাত্রীকে লক্ষ্য করা যায় যে, তারা শুরুটা ছোট চাকরি দিয়ে শুরু করতে চায় না । তারা ভাবেন এত কম বেতন, সুযোগ-সুবিধা এত কম । অনেকে হীনমন্যতায় ভোগেন । এটা কিন্তু ভুল ধারণা । কোন কাজই ছোট নয় ।

শুরুটা যতই ছোট হোক, হতাশ হলে চলবে না । বেকার থাকার চেয়ে যে কোন ছোট চাকরিতে যোগ দেয়া উত্তম । নিজের অবস্থান নিয়ে বিব্রত হওয়ার কিছু নেই, বরং গর্বিত হওয়া উছিত ।

Many CV doesn’t even make it past the initial screening process!

Most CV gets kicked out because they:

1. Contain too little information.
2. Contain too much of the wrong information.
3. Contain information that does not apply to that job.

আসুন জেনে নেই সিভি লেখার আগে যেসব বিষয়ে খেয়াল রাখবেন।

বেকারত্ব

আপনার চাকরি জীবনের ধারাবাহিকতায় দেখা গেল ছয় মাস আপনি বেকার ছিলেন, এই ধরনের গ্যাপ প্রতিষ্ঠানের মানবসম্পদ বিভাগ পছন্দ করে না। তাই সিভিতে এই বিষয়গুলো এড়িয়ে চলুন।

নেটওয়ার্ক

আপনি যে বিষয়ে পড়াশুনা করলেন কিংবা আপনার অভিজ্ঞতা কতটুকু ভালো সেগুলো তেমন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নয়। বরং আপনার চাকরিদাতা দেখবে আপনার নেটওয়ার্কিংয়ের ক্ষমতা কতটুকু।

ইমেইল আইডি

আপনার ইমেইল ঠিকানার মাধ্যমে আপনার ব্যক্তিত্ব অনেকটাই বোঝা যায়। তাই খেয়াল রাখতে হবে উদ্ভট কিংবা অশালীন অর্থ বহন করে এইরকম কোনও ইমেইল আইডি সিভিতে দেবেন না।

এসএসসি, এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার তথ্য

আপনার বয়স যদি ৫০ কিংবা ৬০ হয়, কিংবা কোনও সিনিয়র পোস্টে চাকরির আবেদনের ক্ষেত্রে আপনার এসএসসি, এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার তথ্য সিভিতে দিতে যাবেন না।

অভিজ্ঞতা

আপনার সিভিতে সবচেয়ে বেশি জায়গা ব্যবহার করবেন আপনার অভিজ্ঞতার বিবরণ দিয়ে। কারণ আপনার চাকরিদাতা এই অংশটিই সবচেয়ে খুটিয়ে পড়েন।

চাকরির সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে সিভি বানান

যে চাকরির জন্য আবেদন করছেন সে চাকরির সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে সিভি বানান। একই সিভি সব জায়গায় জমা দেবেন না।

দুই পাতা

চাকরি জীবন শুরু করতে যাচ্ছেন? তাহলে সিভি বানাবেন এ ফোর সাইজের এক পাতায় আর সিনিয়র হলে দুই পাতায়। এর বেশী কখনোই নয়।
