Dhaka College English Language Club is the most promising, versatile, and distinguished club of Dhaka College bearing the motto “Perceive English, Procure Knowledge”. Considering the importance of effective communication and English language, DCELC aimed to assist in learning English and enhance the speaking ability among the students of Dhaka College. It had further created a platform for the youth of Bangladesh to enhance their public speaking skills and exercise their knowledge about English language, literature, and so on. From arranging events on different topics and different themes, DCELC has made its name among the best co-curricular activity clubs in the country.

In 2018, DCELC laid the founding stones of its fame and credibility as a club via its first grand event, DCELC Presents "1st National English Language Festival". The following year the club followed a path of the domino effect of success arranging seminars, weekly sessions, Intra College English Language Festival, and finally, Bashundhara Kings Presents "2nd DCELC National English Language Festival". In 2020 to make the quarantine more tempting and exhortative DCELC arranged its inaugural online fest "Imbroglio Epoch 1.0" which set a benchmark for all the Online English Language Festivals. Other events such as "The Autopsy" and "Languaverse: Season I" were also a part of the series.

At DCELC, we make our own stories, we pave our own ways, and pull others up along the way. Dear Batch 22, enchant yourself in a prestigious co-curricular activity alongside your academics while taking your capabilities to absolute extents through learning communication, public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and much more. Interested ones will be required to pay BDT 150 only via bkash as the membership form charge. The bkash number is +8801884444557 (personal; choose "send money" while sending). After sending, you will be receiving a text message from bkash carrying your TrxID. Save your TrxID, visit the registration link and submit it with the information as required.

Warmest congratulations to Mr. Shahed Shahan, the moderator of Dhaka College English Language Club. He has been selected from the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to participate in the Master's Course at the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. We congratulate him on his well-deserved success and wish him a safe trip abroad and all the best for his next adventure. We will miss this dynamic personality.
