College of Nursing, IUBAT The program seeks to prepare students for a career in international standard professional nursing. Bangladesh and the world need more qualified nurses.

The CON places a special focus on local issues but also strives to make graduates qualified for global opportunities in higher education and employment. College of Nursing, IUBAT - is the only Nursing College under Private University of Bangladesh. Founding Chair of the College is Prof Dr Karen Lund from Canada. The CON of IUBAT offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), so far around 200 students have graduated, all have license from Bangladesh Nursing Council (BNC) for practice. Around 50 graduates are working or studying in USA, UK, Australia, Austria, Nepal, Sweden and the like countries. Foreign teachers and Chairperson of the college provide a world class curriculum that produces competitive graduates. 100% of our graduates pass in BNC licensing examination, 100% of the graduate applicants have passed recruitment examination and secured government job. Government of Bangladesh was trying to recruit 14,000 nurses and only could recruit around 9,000 due to lack of qualified nurses in the country. Those who are seeking job or higher education right after graduation, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing could be the first choice.
