Let Us Nurture the Spirit of Ramadan in Our Children

Assalamu ‘Alaikum Dear Parents,

Alhamdulillah, Allah (Swt) has blessed us once again with the sacred month of Ramadan — the month of taqwa, patience, and self-discipline. As Allah (Swt) says, “O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed upon you…” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183).

Encouraging Fasting
We humbly request you to encourage your children to observe fasting according to their ability and health. Even if they are not yet fully obligated, gradual practice will build love for this beautiful ‘ibadah and strengthen their connection with Allah (Swt).

Healthy Eating Habits
We also kindly request all families to maintain healthy and moderate food habits during suhoor and iftar. Ramadan is not a month of indulgence, but a month of simplicity, gratitude, and self-restraint. Please avoid excessive oily, junk, and sugary foods, and teach children that moderation is from the Sunnah and that our body is an amanah from Allah (Swt).

Managing Screen Time
Additionally, we sincerely urge you to strictly control and reduce device usage during Ramadan. Excessive use of mobile phones, games, and social media weakens the spiritual environment of the home and distracts children from salah, Qur’an recitation, and family bonding. Let us make Ramadan a screen free or screen limited month, replacing devices with Qur’an, dhikr, Islamic books, and meaningful conversations.

Together, let us raise a generation that loves fasting, values discipline, and grows spiritually in this blessed month.

May Allah (Swt) accept from all of us and make our children among the righteous.

Alhamdulillah!

Yesterday’s Pitha Utshab and Mini Book Fair was such a fun and heartwarming day for all of us. The school was full of sweet smells, colorful stalls, happy laughter, and beautiful memories. Students truly enjoyed every bit of it!

A huge thanks to our amazing teachers and admin personnel for their tremendous effort and dedication, and hats off to our respected guardians for their wonderful support and participation. This event wouldn’t have been possible without you all.

And Alhamdulillah, the sales went really well. It's BDT 1,59,488.

Assalamu 'Alaikum.

It has been a common practice in many organizations that if an employee leaves without serving one month’s prior notice, the last month’s salary is withheld. Like many other organizations we have been practicing the same for years.

However, we have recently come to understand that according to Islamic principles, the wages of a worker must be paid fully for the labor they have already provided.

Therefore, with sincerity and accountability, we would like to announce that if any former employee of Premier School Dhaka did not receive their last month’s salary due to this clause, they are requested to contact the office and collect their due payment upon providing necessary evidence of employment and pending dues.

May Allah guide us in fulfilling the rights of others.
