While 150+ countries appreciated the two-state solution of the United Nations for Palestine, one seat was clearly vacant: Iran.

Historical irony. The 1947 United Nations Partition Scheme (Sankalp 181) created Israel, while promised Palestinian state never became physical. After 77 years of war, business and displacement, Iran asks: Why revive the solution failing decades?

Avoiding, Iran protested what he sees as an empty gesture. Their message is clear: real peace will not come from the papers published by foreign powers, but by ending the occupation and allowing true self -determination.
