On 22 June 2026, BISC had the profound honour and rare privilege of receiving our esteemed Chief Patron, Major General Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, SGP, SUP, ndc, hdmc, psc, GOC & Area Comd Logistics Area, Dhaka Cantt. His gracious presence at the institution marks a moment of exceptional significance for the entire BISC family. We consider ourselves truly fortunate and privileged to host him on our campus.

During his visit, he held a productive meeting with the institutional leadership, where he shared insightful directives and strategic guidance for further strengthening academic and administrative standards. He also addressed the faculty members, offering thoughtful expectations aimed at advancing teaching excellence and institutional discipline.

As part of his visit, the respected Chief Patron toured the campus and visited several classrooms, where he interacted warmly with students and observed ongoing academic activities. His presence in the classrooms served as a strong source of inspiration for both students and teachers alike.

The journey towards one of the most important milestones in a student's life took a significant step forward as Bangladesh International School and College (Mohakhali) organised the Admit Card Distribution Ceremony and Special Monazat for HSC Batch 2026 on 18 June 2026.
The programme brought together students, parents, and teachers in an atmosphere filled with hope, gratitude, and anticipation. A special monazat was offered, seeking Allah's blessings for the students as they prepare to face the HSC Examination with courage, sincerity, and determination.
Addressing the gathering, Coordinator Mr. Rasel Kobir, Vice Principal Mr. Abdul Jalil, and Principal Brigadier General Md. Rafiqul Islam, SUP, ndc, afwc, psc shared valuable guidance and encouragement. Their messages highlighted the importance of perseverance, self-belief, and maintaining a balanced approach to both studies and well-being during this crucial period.
Student representatives Afrah Ayesha Wafeeqa and Samira Ferdous reflected on their years at the institution and acknowledged the invaluable role of their teachers in shaping their academic and personal growth. Their heartfelt words resonated with both students and parents alike.
A proud moment of the event was the distribution of admit cards and the awarding of prize money to the students securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, celebrating their dedication and outstanding achievement.
As the examination draws near, the day served as a reminder that success is built upon years of effort, resilience, and guidance.

🟡🕊️ Yellow Birds in Action! 🕊️🟡

Living by their motto, “Help Others,” our dedicated Yellow Birds continue to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and service in school activities.

Today, they organized a Dengue Awareness Program, presenting a short drama and conducting an informative discussion on the causes, symptoms, and prevention of dengue. Following the session, they visited different classrooms to spread awareness among students and also shared important preventive messages with parents waiting on the school premises.

👏 A big round of applause to our enthusiastic Yellow Birds for taking this meaningful initiative and helping create awareness about an important public health issue. We are proud of their commitment to serving others and making a positive impact in our school community.

🔹 Shiekh Sahil (Std IV – Penguin) was awarded Best Player of the Match while representing City Club Football Academy, Dhaka, whose junior team emerged as Group Champions.

🎉 Celebrating Excellence in Spelling & Writing

The Spell Bee Competition (Std.l-V) and Writing Skill Competition (Std.lll-V) were held on 6th May and 17th May respectively with great enthusiasm and joy.

Our young learners showcased remarkable spelling abilities and writing excellence through their active participation in both competitions. The winners of the Spell Bee Competition were awarded medals, while the winners of the Writing Skill Competition (two winners from every section) were given a special refreshment treat in recognition of their outstanding performances.

Such activities inspire students to build confidence, enrich their vocabulary, and strengthen their creative writing skills. We are proud of all the participants for their sincere efforts and commendable achievements.

To promote mathematical thinking, accuracy, and problem-solving skills, the Maths Genius Award Competition has been introduced as a compulsory monthly activity for all students. Every student participated in this competition, where questions were set from the current topics covered in the syllabus.

From each section, the top three scorers were selected as Maths Genius Award recipients based on their outstanding performance in the competition.

Today, the winners received their rewards in recognition of their remarkable achievement and excellence in Mathematics.

We hope this initiative will continue to strengthen students’ mathematical skills and support them in their academic journey in the long run.

The Interhouse BISC Business Club Quiz Competition was successfully held on 14 May (Thursday) with enthusiastic participation from 70 students. The competition was based on the topic of Taxation and provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their knowledge, analytical ability, and competitive spirit.

Among all the participants, 9 students demonstrated outstanding performance by securing full marks in the competition. In recognition of their remarkable achievement, the winners were awarded certificates as a token of appreciation by our respected Principal Sir.
