With hearts filled with gratitude, respect and emotion, Bangladesh International School & College (BISC) arranged a befitting farewell programme to honour two of its dedicated and beloved teachers, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Š๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐๐š ๐ˆ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‘๐ข๐ณ๐ฐ๐š๐ง๐š ๐Œ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐š, who have recently retired after 29 years and 26 years of devoted service, respectively.

Both of them dedicated a significant part of their lives to BISC, teaching and nurturing generations of students through the Bangla language. Their long years of service have left behind countless memories, cherished relationships and an enduring legacy within the BISC family.

The farewell programme was a beautiful reflection of love, gratitude and remembrance. A โ€œ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐‹๐š๐ง๐žโ€ ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ž๐จ ๐œ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ, featuring photographs and memorable moments from their years at BISC, took everyone on an emotional journey through the years.

Three teachers delivered ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฅ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ , sharing their memories and expressing their appreciation for the two retiring teachers. The Vice Principals also spoke warmly about their dedication, contributions and long association with the institution.

The Principal presented special gifts to both Ms. Khaleda and Ms. Rizwana as tokens of remembrance and appreciation. Beautiful albums filled with photographs and cherished memories were also presented to them, preserving the special moments of their long journey with BISC.

The Principal delivered a particularly touching and heartfelt speech, reflecting on their years of service and the valuable contributions they made to the institution. As a special tribute, he also presented the ๐…๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ to both of themโ€”symbolising the light of dedication, knowledge and service that they have shared throughout their years at BISC.

The programme concluded with two beautiful and touching songs, leaving everyone with a mixture of smiles, memories and heartfelt emotions.

After giving so many years of their lives to BISC and to generations of students, Ms. Kaleda and Ms. Rizwana now begin a new chapter of their lives.

Today, Bangladesh International School & College (BISC) celebrated the Prize Giving Ceremony of Cultural Week 26 in a befitting and joyous manner.

Held from 25โ€“31 July 2026, Cultural Week 26 featured competitions across more than 10 different categories, with topics open to all students. Around 140 students from the Senior Divisions were honoured with prizes for their outstanding performances and achievements.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the presence of the parents on stage alongside their children while receiving their prizes, adding a warm, proud and memorable dimension to the celebration.

The programme commenced with the recitation from the Holy Qurโ€™an, followed by the National Anthem, expressing our respect and tribute to our beloved motherland, Bangladesh. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฉ

The excitement and happiness of the students were truly heartwarming as they received their prizes from our respected Principal Sir. Their beaming faces reflected their hard work, dedication and the joy of achievement.

On 9th September 2026, our Std. V students took part in another valuable and interactive Health & First Aid Awareness Session with our School Doctor, Dr. Romana Chowdhury.

The session focused on important everyday health and safety topics, including dengue fever, viral fever, cuts and injuries, burns, and basic first-aid care. Dr. Romana guided the students on how to stay safe, respond calmly, and take appropriate care during common health situations.

The students were especially excited to take part in the practical activities. They had the opportunity to check their heartbeat and learn through hands-on activities, making the session both enjoyable and memorable.

We believe that introducing children to health awareness and basic first aid from an early age helps them become more responsible, confident, and caring individuals. These experiences may also spark an interest in healthcare and inspire our young learners to dream of becoming doctors or other healthcare professionals in the future.

The Morning Assembly at BISC Mohakhali turned into a proud celebration of debating excellence as our respected Principal BISC ( Mohakhali) Brigadier General Md.Rafiqul Islam,SUP,ndc,afwc,psc(Retd) along with the Vice Principals, presented prizes to our outstanding debaters.

Our talented debaters brought glory to BISC Mohakhali by securing Runners-up positions at MLIS Ethos 2 in Maple Leaf International School and the 4th Mastermind Chronicles in Mastermind International School.

At MLIS Ethos 2, our Open team reached the Grand Final, while Mirsabh Munaf earned the prestigious title of Debater of the Tournament (DOT) among 72 debaters.

At the 4th Mastermind Chronicles, our Novice team advanced to the Novice Final and proudly secured the Runners-up position.
