Some farewells are difficult to put into words, especially when we say goodbye to someone whose presence has left a lasting mark on our university.

As Fr. Prof. Dr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, C.S.C., our respected Vice Chancellor, prepares to conclude his journey at Notre Dame University Bangladesh, the NDUB Debating Club came together to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for everything he has contributed to our university community.

Our Moderator, Vhokto Kumar Biswas, Co-Moderator, Srishty Flora Pereira, along with the Executive Committee members, had the privilege of presenting him with a small token of appreciation—an expression of the immense respect, gratitude, and affection we hold for him.

As one chapter comes to an end, we sincerely wish you a beautiful new beginning filled with peace, happiness, good health, and countless achievements.

On 4 August 2026, Tuesday the Notre Dame University Bangladesh Debating Club successfully organized “Podium Power 2.0 : Crafting the Essentials of Competitive Debate.”

The workshop, conducted by Saiful Islam Sami, helped participants learn the basics of parliamentary debate, build confidence, and improve their speaking and critical thinking skills.
