We are delighted to share that teachers from Daffodil International School, Dhanmondi Branch recently took part in professional development training on Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Biology and International A Level Biology.

The session was expertly conducted by William Gray, an official Pearson International Trainer, and organised by Liton Abdullah, Regional Development Manager for Bangladesh and Nepal. The training offered valuable insights into the latest syllabuses, examination patterns, and examiner-style copy checking for both qualifications.

We sincerely thank William Gray for his excellent guidance and the organisers for creating such a valuable learning opportunity. Daffodil International School (English Medium) is seeking a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 to support the effective operation of the school's science laboratories. The selected candidate will assist teachers in preparing laboratory sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and well-organized laboratory environment.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials before practical classes.
• Assist science teachers during laboratory activities and practical examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the science laboratories.
• Properly store chemicals, apparatus, specimens, and laboratory equipment.
• Keep an updated inventory of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and consumables.
• Report damaged or missing equipment and assist in procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and school policies.
• Dispose of laboratory waste safely and responsibly.
• Support the setup and dismantling of laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the School Management.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
• Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) required; preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a school, college, university, or laboratory environment.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
• Ability to maintain laboratory records and inventory.
• Basic computer proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
