Farewell of 40th Batch of Law Department at MIU Held

The farewell of the 40th Batch of the Department of Law at Manarat International University was held on Tuesday (20 May 2026) at the auditorium of the university’s permanent campus in Ashulia.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rob, Honorable Vice Chancellor of the university, attended the program as the chief guest. The event was chaired by Barrister Md. Tasnim Ferdous, Head (In-Charge) of the Department of Law.

Among others present were Professor Dr. A.B.M. Mahbubul Islam, Md. Alamgir Hossain, Additional Registrar of the university, and lecturers Shahriar Bin Wares, Sumaiya Islam, Muhammad Abdul Khalique, and Syeda Tahmina Qumer, along with other faculty members and officials of the department.

At the program, the chief guest and other distinguished guests presented commemorative crests to the outgoing students and wished them continued success in their future careers.

Dept. of Islamic Studies at MIU Organizes Fresher’s Reception & Career Guidance Seminar 2026

The Department of Islamic Studies at Manarat International University (MIU) organized a Fresher’s Reception & Career Guidance Seminar 2026 for the 4th, 5th, and Weekend batches on Tuesday (19 May 2026) at the auditorium of the university’s Permanent Campus.

Mr. Md. Manirul Islam, Treasurer of the university, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. The event began at 10:00 AM with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and was chaired by Dr. Abu Ayub Md. Ibrahim, Dean of the School of Arts & Humanities and Head of the Department of Islamic Studies.

The programme was conducted in two sessions. In the first session, Dr. Muhammad Mostofa Hossain presented a career guidance session titled “Mastering Islamic Studies: Gateway towards a Global Journey,” where he highlighted global career opportunities, essential skills, and academic pathways for students of Islamic Studies.

Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Assistant Professor; Md. Kamruzzaman Khezree, Lecturer; and Mohammad Salem Al-Ahlhari also delivered their valuable speeches on the occasion.

In the second session, the freshers were formally welcomed to the department. The newly admitted students were received with flower sticks by the faculty members and guests as a gesture of warm reception and encouragement. Abdullah Bin Rabbani, President of the Islamic Studies Club, introduced the club’s future plans and executive committee members.

Faculty members delivered inspirational speeches emphasizing sincere intention, Islamic values, discipline, moral character, academic excellence (Ihsan), guidance from teachers, and self-development for contributing positively to society.

The programme also featured soulful nasheed performances by students. The event concluded at 1:30 PM with closing remarks by Dr. Abu Ayub Md. Ibrahim, making the event an inspiring and memorable occasion for the newly admitted students.

মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির আইন বিভাগের ৪১তম ব্যাচের মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থী মোঃ আবু সাঈদের রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনায় মঙ্গলবার (১৯ মে ২০২৬) বাদ জোহর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নামাজের স্থানে এক দোয়া মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

আইন বিভাগের আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত এ দোয়া মাহফিলে মরহুমের আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি সমবেদনা জানিয়ে বিশেষ দোয়া ও মোনাজাত করা হয়।

এতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আইন বিভাগের প্রফেসর ড. এবিএম মাহবুবুল আলম, ভারপ্রাপ্ত বিভাগীয় প্রধান ব্যারিস্টার তাসনিম ফেরদৌস, ইইই বিভাগের প্রধান প্রফেসর মো. এরশাদুল হক চৌধুরী, অ্যাডিশনাল রেজিস্ট্রার মো. আলমগীর হোসেইন, ছাত্রবিষয়ক বিভাগের ভারপ্রাপ্ত পরিচালক আবদুল মতিনসহ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন বিভাগের শিক্ষক, কর্মকর্তা ও শিক্ষার্থীরা।

মানারাত ইউনিভার্সিটিতে দিনব্যাপী বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ‘দ্য রিজন রেনেসাঁ’ অনুষ্ঠিত

মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেট ক্লাব (এমআইইউডিসি)-এর আয়োজনে সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে ব্যতিক্রমধর্মী বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা “দ্য রিজন রেনেসাঁ — রিইগনাইট দ্য এজ অব আইডিয়াস”। শুক্রবার (১৫ মে ২০২৬) দিনব্যাপী এ বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

প্রতিযোগিতায় 'অরেয়া' দল চ্যাম্পিয়ন এবং 'লুমিনা' রানারআপ হয়। প্রতিযোগিতা উপলক্ষ্যে শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে যুক্তি, বিশ্লেষণ এবং মুক্তচিন্তার চর্চাকে বিকশিত করার লক্ষ্যে আয়োজিত এ প্রতিযোগিতায় শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে ব্যাপক উৎসাহ ও উদ্দীপনার সৃষ্টি হয়। দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিতার্কিকরা বিচারক হিসেবে এ প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন এমআইইউডিসি'র উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. রমিত আজাদ এবং বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন মডারেটর (ছাত্র) ড. মোাহম্মাদ আবুল কালাম আজাদ।

বিচারক হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির আইন বিভাগের লেকচারার জুয়েল রানা, ঢাকা ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং সোসাইটির বিতার্কিক সাদিয়া আফরিন ও কর্মসূচি সম্পাদক সাব্বির আহমেদ শিশির, জাহাঙ্গীরনগর ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং অর্গানাইজেশনের যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক হাসিব বিন আবদুল হাই এবং এমআইইউডিসি'র সাবেক সভাপতি হাসিব আহমেদ, সুজায়েত উল্লাহ, মেহজাবিন চৌধুরী ও সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. সাগর পাটোয়ারীসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন বিতর্ক সংগঠনের সাবেক ও বর্তমান নেতৃবৃন্দ।

এছাড়াও ট্যাব পরিচালক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন সাউথইস্ট ডিবেট ক্লাবের পরিকল্পনা ও উন্নয়ন সম্পাদক।

অনুষ্ঠানের সভাপতিত্ব করেন এমআইইউডিসি'র (ছাত্র) সভাপতি মো. মাহফুজুর রহমান খান এবং সার্বিক সমন্বয় করেন সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. মোরশেদুল ইসলাম।

এ প্রতিযোগিতার মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা কেবল বিতার্কিক নয়, বরং সচেতন, দায়িত্বশীল এবং পরিবর্তন-প্রত্যাশী নাগরিক হিসেবে নিজেদের গড়ে তুলবে বলে আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেন এমআইইউডিসি'র সভাপতি মো. মাহফুজুর রহমান খান।

মালয়েশিয়ার হাইকমিশনারের সঙ্গে মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির ভিসির দ্বিপাক্ষীয় বৈঠক

ঢাকাস্থ মালয়েশিয়া হাইকমিশনের মান্যবর হাইকমিশনার মুহাম্মাদ শুহাদা বিন ওসমানের সঙ্গে মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির ভাইস-চ্যান্সেলর প্রফেসর ড. মোহাম্মদ আবদুর রবের এক দ্বিপাক্ষীয় বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

রোববার (১৭ মে ২০২৬) বিকেলে অনুষ্ঠিত এ বৈঠকে মালয়েশিয়ার তেরেঙ্গানু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কর্পোরেট যোগাযোগ বিভাগের পরিচালক মি. জুকিফেরি বিন ইব্রাহিম উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

বৈঠকে বাংলাদেশ ও মালয়েশিয়ার উচ্চশিক্ষা খাতে সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধি, গবেষণা সম্প্রসারণ, শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী বিনিময় এবং আন্তর্জাতিক একাডেমিক নেটওয়ার্ক গড়ে তোলার বিষয়ে আলোচনা হয়।

এ সময় মালয়েশিয়ার হাইকমিশনার মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম, সুনাম ও একাডেমিক অগ্রগতির প্রশংসা করেন।

জবাবে প্রফেসর ড. মোহাম্মদ আবদুর রব মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য আধুনিক ও মানসম্মত শিক্ষা এবং গবেষণার সুযোগ সৃষ্টিতে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে বলে মালয়েশিয়ার হাইকমিশনারকে আশ্বস্ত করেন।

একই সঙ্গে তিনি মান্যবর হাইকমিশনারকে সুবিধাজনক সময়ে মানারাত ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি পরিদর্শনের আমন্ত্রণ জানান।

এ সময় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্কুল অব বিজনেস অ্যান্ড ইকোনমিকসের ডিন মোঃ মাহবুব আলম এবং সিজিইডি’র সহকারী অধ্যাপক ড. মহিউদ্দিন সরকার উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Farewell Program of the 41st Batch of the Department of Pharmacy Held at MIU

The farewell program of the 41st batch of the Department of Pharmacy at Manarat International University was held on Sunday, 17 May 2026, at the auditorium of the university’s permanent campus in Ashulia.

Teachers, students, and officials of the department congratulated the outgoing students with flowers, crests, and gifts. They also wished them continued success in their future academic and professional lives.

The campus was decorated with colorful banners, festoons, and beautiful alpana, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere. The outgoing students participated in the program wearing uniforms of the same color, adding vibrancy to the event.

A colorful cultural program was also arranged at the end of the ceremony, which made the farewell more lively and memorable.

Professor Dr. Monira Sharmin, Adviser of the Department; Md. Rezaul Karim, Associate Professor and Head of the Department; Rikta Banu, Assistant Professor; Dr. Ahad Ali Khan; and other faculty members were present on the occasion.

আল্লাহ মরহুমকে ক্ষমা করুন, তাঁর কবরকে জান্নাতের বাগানসমূহের একটি বানিয়ে দিন এবং পরিবারকে এই শোক সহ্য করার শক্তি দান করুন।

“হে আল্লাহ, তাকে মাফ করে দিন, তার মর্যাদা বৃদ্ধি করুন এবং তাকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস নসিব করুন।”
