Good Morning, everyone. My name is …… and we are here today to talk about travelling.
Travelling is the one act where you can experience danger, chaos, fun, laughter and peace all at once. Travelling is what opens our eyes to horizons beyond our own. It shows us worlds beyond our own. Now we all want to travel but we’re all a little scared, aren’t we? That’s okay, fear of the unknown is normal but today we are going to talk about all those little fears that stop us from travelling the world.

Let me tell you why travelling can change your life. We’re all a little afraid of the unknown, aren’t we? New people, new languages, new cultures, etc. How does travel help you get over all of those fears? When you travel, you don’t just meet new faces but you meet new lives, you see the little differences. Perhaps their fashion is different to yours, perhaps their makeup is different to yours, perhaps the way they even walk could be different to yours. At first, all the new things may be very difficult to take in all at once but slowly you will that things aren’t so frightening anymore. Perhaps you like the fashion from Japan and the makeup from France with the lifestyle of Brazilians and the food from India and all these new things will help you change into a person that is completely unique and different from everyone else. You will see yourself slowly opening up to new things you had never even thought about before.

Who hates sitting in a chair in school day after day learning about different countries? Wouldn’t you like to be out there experiencing it yourself? Would you not want to see the Northern Lights from the snowy mountains of Norway instead of seeing the pictures? Would you not want to stand in front of the Eiffel Tower instead of seeing pictures of your friends there? Would you not want to trek the rainforests in Brazil instead of reading about it? Well travelling will open the entire world for you to do just that. You can experience things you have always wanted to and more. However, there are also things that you should keep in your mind before you travel.

Every country has its own unique charm but just like that, every country also has its limits and restrictions. Some countries you visit will follow a different religion than you are used to and you might find yourself being outcasted from the natives for offending them without even realizing. It is best to do a brief but thorough research on a country before you visit it. Learn the do’s and the don’ts early on and you will find yourself not being too shocked by the culture change. There is also a matter of currency, make sure to research what currency the country uses and exchange your own money at the airport so that you can buy food, clothes, souvenirs, etc. It is also always helpful to keep any medication and supplies you need on hand at all times, such as inhalers, allergy medications, insulin shots if you use those for emergencies.

Last but not least, make sure to enjoy your travel experience! Take as many pictures as you want so that you can look back at them years later and reminisce with your friends. Take your time when you travel and keep time to see everything properly instead of rushing through because you don’t know if you’ll ever return to the country so take in everything slowly.

The writer is burdened with guilt; simultaneously, the readers evoke a sense of sympathy for the mother, the injured boy and the writer likewise. The readers are able to understand the helpless situation of the mother, and the misery of the writer. This engages them to read the text further.
