We are deeply shocked and outraged by the tragic incident that occurred at the Dhaka University's Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall, where a mentally ill man, Masud Kamal Tofazzal, was brutally beaten to death by some resident students on the night of September 18. This barbaric act is incomprehensible and represents a stain on our community.

We demand swift justice for this heinous crime and insist that all those responsible be held accountable through a fair legal process. Violence has no place in our society, and we must stand united against such cruelty.

On this blessed occasion, we commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, around 570 CE. As Muslims, we believe he is the final messenger sent by Almighty Allah to guide humanity. The Holy Quran, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the angel Jibriel, stands as the eternal word of Allah.

In 622, facing opposition and persecution, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his followers migrated to Medina, an event known as the Hijrah. Despite the challenges, his message of peace, justice, and mercy spread globally. After his passing in 632, his teachings continue to inspire Muslims to pursue excellence, compassion, and righteousness.

ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যারিয়ার ক্লাবসহ টিএসসির সম্মীলিত সামাজিক সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠন এর সহযোগিতায় নোয়াখালীর সেনবাগে তিন হাজার মানুষের মাঝে বিতরণ করা হলো ত্রাণ সামগ্রী। টিএসসির সকল সংগঠন মিলে গতো কয়েকদিনের সহযোগিতায় আদায়কৃত ফান্ডিং এর দ্বারা, গত ২৫ আগস্ট রাতে রওনা করা হয়, নোয়াখালীর সেনবাগের উদ্দেশ্যে।২৬ তারিখ সকাল বেলা, সেনবাগের কেন্দ্রীয় ত্রান ব্যবস্থাপনা কেন্দ্র ব্রাক সেন্টারে স্থানীয় প্রশাসন ও সেচ্ছাসেবী রা ত্রান সহায়তা দানকারী টিমকে গ্রহণ করেন। তারপর সারাদিন, তাদের সহায়তায়, সেনবাগের ৯টা ইউনিয়নের ৭টি তে ত্রান সামগ্রী বিতরণ করা হয়। ত্রাণ কার্যে অংশগ্রহণ কারী দল সেনবাগের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে সরেজমিনে গিয়ে পরিস্থিতি পর্যবেক্ষণ করেন এবং প্রয়োজনীয় ত্রাণ সামগ্রী বিতরণ করেন। ডিইউকিউএস সহ টিএসসিভিত্তিক সকল সংগঠন, সেনবাগ উপজেলায় যতোটা পারে সময়োপযোগী সাহায্য পৌঁছাতে চেষ্টা করে গেছে। আমরা প্রার্থনা করি, চলমান বন্যা দ্রুত নেমে গিয়ে তারা যেন পূর্বের স্বাভাবিক জীবনে ফিরে আসে।
