CILT Bangladesh - The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport organized a webinar on “Industry-based Research Project & Research Publication” which was presided over by Capt. Mohiuddin Abdul Kadir (MAK) FCILT, President at CILT Bangladesh Council and President & Senior Partner at MCLaw services. The keynote speaker was Prof. Md. Mamun Habib, FCILT, Professor at the Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB), Bangladesh. We had Mr. Syed Ershad Ahmed, FCILT, President at AmCham Bangladesh, Managing Director, and Country Manager at Expeditors Bangladesh Limited as the Chief Guest and Mohammed Zia Uddin CSCM, FCILT, Supply Director, Bangladesh- Sri Lanka Cluster at Reckitt (Bangladesh) PLC, Lead Trainer, CILT International Qualifications as Special Guest.
It was a very interactive session with participants from all across the globe joining the webinar.

Mr Reyasat Chowdhury MILT (Co-founder & CEO, Shuttle and Executive Committee Member of Next Generation CILT Bangladesh) in recognition of his outstanding achievement as the youngest entrepreneur listed on Forbes 30 under 30 in the South Asia region and a worthy Ambassador of CILT Next Generation, has been invited to be a speaker at the Next Generation Inspire Session (NGIS) to be held during the CILT International Convention 23rd to 26th October 2022, Hyatt Regency, Perth, Australia, which will start tomorrow!
Reyasat will share his personal experience, and challenges faced during his career and also provide an avenue to highlight the skills required in the logistics and transportation industry for the Next Generation of Professionals.
CILT Bangladesh Council has been promoting professional development and innovation among the young professionals members in CILT Bangladesh through the Next Generation Forum since 2016 which provides enhanced networking and support opportunities for members in the early stages of their career. We are also proud to proclaim that Mr. Reyasat Chowdhury MILT, had also become a finalist of the CILT International Young Achiever of the Year Award at the CILT International Centenary Convention in Manchester, UK in 2019.
Reyasat is one of the most promising young entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. His ride-sharing startup, Shuttle (which started as a woman-friendly ride-sharing service) has empowered working women by ensuring safe transportation. It has earned him recognition locally and also in the international arena the most prominent of those recognitions is being placed under the Forbes 30 under 30 lists. Such achievements have made strides in the startup industry and inspired many. Shuttle has gained the faith of organizations and venture funds like Accelerating Asia (Singapore), Robi Axiata Limited (r-ventures), Impact Collective, and Bangladesh Angels Network.
The future of our industry rests in the hands of the Next Generation, and we have a responsibility not just to support today’s leaders, but to nurture tomorrow’s.
