BUCLC welcomed students to join an engaging platform through meaningful conversations and interactive games. The enthusiasm of our visitors and the memorable moments shared throughout the fair made the experience truly special.

๐—•๐—ฅ๐—”๐—– ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐—–๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฏ (๐—•๐—จ๐—–๐—Ÿ๐—–) participated in the two day Fall 2026 Club Fair, themed "EntreVerse- Where Ideas Connect, Entrepreneurship Begins.โ€ The event brought together students from diverse backgrounds, highlighting the significance of effective communication and language in building confidence, expressing perspectives and connecting people beyond boundaries.

It was a pleasure to meet so many enthusiastic students interested in developing their communication skills, overcoming stage fear and becoming more confident speakers. Through engaging conversations and interactive games, our stall offered students the opportunity to explore the power of words and communication through "๐—•๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐˜€โ€ and โ€œ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐˜†๐—ป๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜†๐—บ๐˜€.These activities brought a fun and engaging twist to language learning while encouraging creativity.

BRAC University Communication and Language Club (BUCLC) is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Ishiat Shahriar Oprotim. We express our sincere condolences and support to his grieving family who lost their precious child at such a young age to the greed of some monsters in human skin.

Oprotimโ€™s death has shaken not only his family but people across Bangladesh, raising serious concerns about the safety of children and other vulnerable members of our society.

This tragedy also reminds us of our responsibility to protect children in both the physical and digital world. Responsible social-media use, healthy screen-time limits, digital safety awareness and proper parental supervision are increasingly important in helping children recognize risks and seek help when needed. Parents, educational institutions, technology platforms and society must work together to create safer environments for them.

Oprotim may no longer come back and his family will always be haunted by the pain and grief, but we can honour his memory by demanding justice and working towards a Bangladesh where every child can return home safely and there is never another Oprotim, nor a mother waiting for a son who will come back.

BUCLC stands with Oprotimโ€™s family and with every voice calling for justice and safety.

BRAC University Communication and Language Club (BUCLC) had the honor of organizing "๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ž ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ: ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ž๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ", on 3 September 2026, in collaboration with BRAC Institute of Languages (BIL). The event served to celebrate the language and rich cultural heritage of China to the BRAC University community.

The event was graced with the honorable presence of ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‹๐ข ๐’๐ก๐š๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ , Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Peopleโ€™s Republic of China in Bangladesh, as Chief Guest, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐’๐ฒ๐ž๐ ๐…๐ž๐ซ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐€๐ง๐ฐ๐š๐ซ, Vice-Chancellor of BRAC University, as the Special Guest. The event featured flashmob, cultural and Martial arts performances by members of BUCLC and faculty members of BRAC University along with the opportunity to experience Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting, traditional Chinese and Bangladeshi attire live and also featured a book exhibition and a photo zone with Chinese culture as the theme.
