Class VI Shines at Shahabuddin Park!

Yesterday, our Class VI students brought Greek mythology to life with a spectacular performance at Shahabuddin Park! Dressed as Greek Gods and Goddesses, they delivered confident and expressive speeches that showcased their learning, creativity, and hard work.

We were thrilled to have Class IV, V, VII, and VIII join as the audience. Their cheers and encouragement made the event even more special.

A big congratulations to our young performers for putting on such a memorable show!

Our Kindergarteners took a meaningful field trip to Shahabuddin Park as part of the Taking Action component of our unit “It’s Alive” under the Transdisciplinary Theme Sharing the Planet.

Our little changemakers visited the community bookshelf, where people donate or exchange books as a sustainable practice. Each child proudly placed a book in the donation box, excited to share something special for others in the community to enjoy. 📚

It was truly heartwarming to see their sense of responsibility, joy, and confidence as they contributed to a greener, kinder world. They also enjoyed exploring the park and celebrating the positive impact they were making together! 🌿

Pre-Kindergarten Field Trip to The Green Factory!

This week, our little learners spent a wonderful morning exploring The Green Factory. They discovered different types of plants, learnt which ones grow indoors vs. outdoors, and even tried simple plant-care techniques like watering and checking sunlight needs.

This hands-on, sensory learning made the experience exciting and meaningful - our Pre-K students returned with bright smiles and lots of new knowledge about the green world around them!

Our Toddlers Met a Special Friend!

This week, our Toddlers had the most adorable learning experience as part of their Pet Animals topic! We invited Ms. Noshin Shakura Sarnee and her sweet dog Archie for an exciting External Engagement session.

The little ones were thrilled to meet Archie - watching him walk, wag his tail, and gently interact with everyone. They learned about caring for pets, being kind to animals, and staying safe around them. The experience was full of giggles, curious questions, and lots of “Archie!” calls.

Hands-on moments like these help our Toddlers connect their learning to the real world in the most joyful way!

Our Class II students had a wonderful learning experience at Gram Cha. They met the owner, Mr. Ashik, who shared how he came up with the idea for his business, how he chose the name and logo, and the strategies he uses to advertise and make his tea stall stand out among many others in Dhaka.

The students also enjoyed a hands-on session where they learned how to make iced tea. Each child had the chance to prepare a cup of tea themselves, which made the visit even more memorable.

Experiences like these help our learners connect real-world concepts with what they explore in the classroom. We are proud of our curious and enthusiastic Class II students.

Our Class V–VII students enjoyed a wonderful and enriching visit to Sonargaon, exploring history, culture, and architecture beyond the classroom.

Students walked through the abandoned 16th-century streets of Panam City, observing its preserved architecture and learning about its historical significance as an ancient trading hub.

🏠 Bara Sardar Bari & Sonargaon Folk Art and Craft Museum
They explored traditional craftsmanship, artifacts, and cultural exhibits that showcase Bangladesh’s rich artistic heritage.

🕌 Goaldi Mosque
The trip concluded at the Mughal-era Goaldi Mosque, where students observed its unique architectural style and historical importance.

A memorable and meaningful learning experience for all!

Learning Through Real Community Connections!
This week, our Preschool and Class II students had an exciting opportunity to meet two wonderful guests — Dr. Nadeen and Ms. Anjume, a doctor and a police officer respectively. The children were thrilled to learn about their important roles and how they help our community every day.

Our Preschoolers explored their unit on community helpers, discovering how different people contribute to keeping us safe, healthy, and supported.

Class II connected the visit to their topic “নানা পেশার মানুষ” learning about various professions and the value each role brings to the society. The students asked thoughtful questions, engaged in meaningful conversations, and gained real-life insights into the world around them.

We are grateful to our guests for inspiring our young learners with their time, stories, and kindness.
