Today, we celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, languages, knowledge, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples around the world. Their deep connection with nature and communities continues to enrich our shared global heritage.

In Bangladesh, Indigenous communities like Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Garo etc. are the integral parts of our cultural diversity, contributing their unique traditions, languages, art, knowledge, and ways of life to the country’s rich heritage. Their diverse cultures remind us of the beauty and strength found in our differences. 🩵

This day reminds us to respect Indigenous rights, identities, and voices, and to value the diversity they bring to our society and the world.

Let us stand together to preserve Indigenous languages, traditions, and cultural heritage while supporting their aspirations for equality, dignity, inclusion, and justice! 🤝

Celebrating diversity. Honoring heritage. Empowering Indigenous voices. 🌿

On this valuable day, we remember the courage, resilience and determination of the youth whose voices inspired hope and strengthened the spirit of our nation. The July Mass Uprising reminds us that young people have the power to shape history through unity, courage, responsibility, and a commitment to positive change.

As the leaders of tomorrow, may you continue to learn with purpose, think with wisdom, and lead with courage. Together, we can build a more peaceful, inclusive and progressive Bangladesh.
