ART LAB DHAKA

ART LAB DHAKA Art Lab Dhaka is a platform for artists, interested in art, research and knowledge sharing. Motivation - art archive & research.

Today Contemporary art world has gone too far where art, science and knowledge has emerged. But in the context of our country it has yet to explore. Because art and aesthetic is a very subjective matter, so anybody has the freedom to choose his own way of making art. The only matter is what he wants to tell or know through his creative process. So, there is a huge possibility that, through art one can search the true knowledge's for him. The Knowledge about self, society, world or physical to metaphysical world. Based on this concept - 'Knowing through making art', we have decided to start a new platform, Art Lab Dhaka, for artist with similar mindset. An artist who wishes to do subject specific research on art practice, wanted to assimilate science, history, anthropology or other multidisciplinary creative blending in Art, is invited to work in Art Lab Dhaka.
