Nibras Madrasah Debating Club- NMDC extends its heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to all the meritorious students who have successfully passed the SSC/Dakhil and Equivalent Examinations 2026.

Your success is a reflection of your dedication, perseverance, and hard work. May this achievement mark the beginning of an even more successful journey ahead, filled with knowledge, excellence, and meaningful accomplishments.

১৬ই জুলাই বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে একটি স্মরণীয় দিন। ২০২৪ সালের জুলাই মাসে বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনে সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থী ও জনগণের যে অভূতপূর্ব গণজাগরণ ঘটেছিল, এই দিনটি সেই বীরত্ব ও আত্মত্যাগের প্রতীক। বিশেষ করে, ১৬ই জুলাই রংপুরের বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থী আবু সাঈদ বুক পেতে পুলিশের গুলির সামনে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন এবং নির্মমভাবে শহীদ হন। তাঁর এই অকুতোভয় আত্মত্যাগ সমগ্র দেশের আন্দোলনকে দাবানলের মতো ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছিল এবং ছাত্র-জনতার চেতনাকে করে তুলেছিল বেগবান। স্বৈরাচার ও অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করতে গিয়ে যে অসংখ্য তরুণ ও সাধারণ মানুষ নিজেদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছেন, তাঁদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করতেই প্রতি বছর এই দিবসটি পালন করা হয়। জুলাই শহীদ দিবস আমাদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয় তরুণেরা চাইলে যেকোনো অন্যায়ের দেয়াল ভেঙে গুঁড়িয়ে দিতে পারে এবং এই দিনটি নতুন প্রজন্মের কাছে সর্বদা দেশপ্রেম, সাহসিকতা ও ন্যায়ের পথে লড়াই করার এক চিরন্তন অনুপ্রেরণা।

রক্তিম জুলাই: ২০২৪ সালের গণঅভ্যুত্থানের ইতিহাস

২০২৪ সালের জুলাই মাস বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে একটি রক্তক্ষয়ী বিপ্লব, আত্মত্যাগ এবং তারুণ্যের শক্তির প্রতীক। কোটা সংস্কারের দাবিতে শুরু হওয়া একটি সাধারণ ছাত্র আন্দোলন কীভাবে এক অভূতপূর্ব গণঅভ্যুত্থানে রূপ নিয়েছিল এবং পুরো রাষ্ট্রের গতিপথ বদলে দিয়েছিল, জুলাই মাস ফিরে এলে সেই স্মৃতি বাঙালির হৃদয়ে নতুন করে জাগ্রত হয়।

আন্দোলনের সূত্রপাত ও তীব্রতা
২০২৪ সালের জুলাইয়ের শুরু থেকেই দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থীরা বৈষম্যবিরোধী আন্দোলনের ব্যানারে রাজপথে নেমে আসে। মেধার ভিত্তিতে সরকারি চাকরিতে নিয়োগের দাবিতে শুরু হওয়া এই আন্দোলন ক্রমান্বয়ে তীব্র রূপ ধারণ করে। কিন্তু শান্তিপূর্ণ এই আন্দোলনকে দমনের জন্য যখন শক্তি প্রয়োগ করা হয়, তখন তা সাধারণ মানুষের ক্ষোভকে উস্কে দেয় এবং সারা দেশে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।

রক্তিম জুলাই
জুলাইয়ের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে আন্দোলন এক ঐতিহাসিক ও মর্মান্তিক মোড় নেয়। ১৬ জুলাই রংপুরে বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থী আবু সাঈদের বুক পেতে পুলিশের গুলির সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকার দৃশ্য এবং পরবর্তীতে তার শাহাদাত পুরো দেশের মানুষকে স্তম্ভিত করে দেয়।
এরপরের দিনগুলো ছিল আরও রক্তক্ষয়ী। মিরপুর, উত্তরা, রামপুরা, যাত্রাবাড়ীসহ সারা দেশ রণক্ষেত্রে পরিণত হয়। ঢাকার উত্তরায় আন্দোলনরত শিক্ষার্থীদের পানি খাওয়াতে গিয়ে গুলিতে প্রাণ হারান মীর মাহফুজুর রহমান মুগ্ধ, যার শেষ কথা—"কারো পানি লাগবে, পানি?" আজও প্রতিটি মানুষের চোখ ভিজিয়ে দেয়। একে একে স্কুল, কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শত শত শিক্ষার্থী এবং সাধারণ মানুষ রাজপথে নিজের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেন।

ছাত্র-জনতার অভূতপূর্ব ঐক্য
এই আন্দোলনের সবচেয়ে বড় শক্তি ছিল এর গণমুখী চরিত্র। যখনই শিক্ষার্থীদের ওপর হামলা চালানো হয়েছে, তখনই তাদের পাশে এসে দাঁড়িয়েছেন সাধারণ অভিভাবক, রিকশাচালক, শ্রমিক, শিক্ষক, আইনজীবী ও সংস্কৃতিকর্মীরা। ইন্টারনেট বন্ধ, কারফিউ এবং তীব্র দমনপীড়নের মধ্যেও মানুষ রাজপথ ছাড়েনি। ঢাকার দেয়ালগুলো ভরে উঠেছিল তরুণদের আঁকা প্রতিবাদী গ্রাফিতিতে, যা হয়ে উঠেছিল এই বিপ্লবের ভিজ্যুয়াল দলিল।

জুলাইয়ের অর্জন ও চেতনা
শত শত শহীদের রক্ত এবং হাজারো মানুষের পঙ্গুত্ব বরণের মধ্য দিয়ে ৫ই আগস্ট (৩৬ জুলাই) এই আন্দোলনের চূড়ান্ত বিজয় অর্জিত হয়। দীর্ঘদিনের স্বৈরাচারী শাসনব্যবস্থার পতন ঘটে এবং এক নতুন বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্নযাত্রা শুরু হয়। রক্তের দামে কেনা এই জুলাই আমাদের শিখিয়েছে, তরুণ সমাজ চাইলে যেকোনো স্বৈরাচারী ও অন্যায্য ব্যবস্থার ভিত কাঁপিয়ে দিতে পারে।

As the excitement of FIFA World Cup 2026 takes over the world, Nibras Madrasah Debating Club- NMDC is bringing that passion to the arena of ideas!

Join us for a unique friendly debate where football enthusiasm meets the power of logic, reasoning, and persuasion.

🎙️ Two teams, each consisting of three members, will represent their chosen World Cup nations and compete through compelling arguments, insightful analysis, and effective presentation.

✨ Theme:
"Where the passion of football finds a new dimension through the language of reason."

This is not a battle for goals on the pitch, but a battle of ideas, critical thinking, and persuasive speaking.
