IGCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE B BATCH OF MAY 2026
A small group that turned into a big family. A batch that drives me to be better at what I do. A batch that I look forward to teaching all the time. For they are the batch that drives me to wake up every morning in one of the worst years of my life. A batch that turned into a family of mine. A family that made me feel joy after weeks of me being deprived of knowing what it felt like. And it's been only 5 months that I know you guys. I can't wait to see you guys achieve everything you want in life.
Thanks for making my birthday so special, everyone!

Batch of May 2025, officially signing out!
30th April 2025
Dear students,
Today marks the end of our classes together. You all were not just another batch. You were my batch. The one I laughed with, got frustrated with, grew with. The one I’ll always remember, not for the marks or lessons shared, but for the memories.
I will miss Nabiha and Warisha, champions of the "Sir, ektu marks den na" movement.
And Nazifa, the silent mastermind, who made Warisha do all her questioning.
I will miss Sachchondo and the weird food combinations she somehow survived eating, and her obsession with every language on Earth except English, the very subject I was supposed to teach.
I will miss being confused every single time between Melinda and Melissa — honestly, I still don't know who’s who. (jk)
I will miss yelling at Lamia and Tafannum for being permanently glued to their phones.
I will miss Savera’s disturbingly encyclopedic knowledge of drugs. I swear, I still suspect that she probably is a cartel member!
I’ll miss seeing Nuhan twice a day, once in class and once in Talha’s building. At this point, it felt like he was haunting me.
I’ll miss Arafat, taking his self-appointed job as the Skibidi Police, constantly trying to stop Neil from speaking the most garbage things I’ve ever heard in an English class.
But most of all, I’ll miss all of you. Because I didn’t just teach you, I lived a part of my life with you.
Through heartbreaks, personal battles, grief, joy, and countless rants, taking your classes became my escape. It gave me purpose on days I didn’t feel like getting out of bed. It gave me something to laugh about, something to hold onto. Teaching you didn’t feel like a job — it felt like a reason.
And for that, I thank you.
I hope life treats you gently. And when it doesn’t, I hope you fight like hell and come out stronger.
Like I always say, I don’t believe in goodbyes. So instead,
Till we meet again.

Spearhead Version 3.0
When I first started teaching IGCSE English, I never imagined that my personal notes would one day become a book - let alone one that evolves with each passing year. Yet, here we are.
Spearhead Version 3.0 is now on the bookshelves of Aegis Educare, refined and enriched with everything I’ve learned over another year of teaching. This edition is more than just an update. It’s a testament to growth, adaptation, and the endless pursuit of making learning easier for my students.
Every batch I teach reminds me that education isn’t a one-way street; my students continue to challenge and inspire me. And, as long as I teach, I’ll continue to learn because the journey never truly ends.
Here’s to another year of striving for better!

I am incredibly proud to share that our student, Mahfuzul Islam Mazumder, achieved an outstanding score of 27/30 in the narrative essay (section-C) of the October 2024 IGCSE English Language B examination!
This success also highlights the importance of well-structured set-piece essays prepared beforehand in securing high marks on the exam. Mahfuz demonstrated a clever strategy by adapting an essay provided in class to fit the given exam topic. He skillfully reworked "My Wife Was Psychic for a Short While" by Abhisek Bosu to align with the exam question, "The Reunion," and excelled in doing so!
Below, we have provided both versions of the essay for comparison.
