World University of Bangladesh Signs Erasmus Agreement to Expand Global Academic Opportunities

The Department of Textile engineering & Fashion Design, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) has formally entered into an Erasmus cooperation agreement with the University of Oradea, marking an important step forward in strengthening international academic collaboration and global engagement.

Under the agreement, eligible participants will have opportunities to take part in student mobility for study, faculty mobility for teaching, and staff mobility for training. These exchanges will allow WUB students to experience diverse academic environments, modern teaching methodologies, and multicultural learning settings, while faculty and staff will benefit from professional development, knowledge sharing, and collaborative academic practices.

The Department of Textile engineering & Fashion Design, World University of Bangladesh looks forward to the successful implementation of this agreement and to building a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership under the Erasmus program.

WUB proudly hosted National Award winning Fashion Designer Chandra Shekhar Shaha, Senior Consultant at Aarong (BRAC), for a special lecture on 2 December 2025. He shared valuable insights on contemporary fashion, craft innovation, and global design trends deeply inspiring our Fashion Design and Apparel Technology students. Our WUB Textile Department Head, WUB Registrar, and our faculty members were also present to warmly welcome him.
