Present Perfect Continuous tense :
It is used to express an ongoing action that started in past and is continued until now. (অতীতে কোন কাজ শুরু হয়েছিলো এবং এখনো চলমান আছে বুঝাতে Present Perfect Continuous Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়) There will be a time reference, such as “since 1980, for three hours etc”. Time reference is the identity of Present Perfect Continuous Tense. But sometimes, reference of time is not mentioned. এখানে কাজটি আরম্ভকাল উল্লেখ থাকে, যেমন ১৯৮০, তিন ঘন্টা যাবৎ ইত্যাদি। সময়ের উল্লেখ থাকাটাই Present Perfect Continuous Tense এর পরিচিতি। কিন্তু কখনো কখনো সময়ের উল্লেখ থাকে না।
Structure (গঠন) :
Subject + have been / has been + Base Verb + ing + Object (Reference of time or no reference of time) সময়ের উল্লেখ থাকতেও পারে অথবা সময়ের উল্লেখ নাও থাকতে পারে।
Note : If the subject is “He, She, It or singular number ” then auxiliary verb “has been” is used.
If subject is “We, You, They or plural” then auxiliary verb “have been” is used after subject in sentence.
