The Department of Environment and Development Studies (EDS) at United International University, in collaboration with the EDS Club, brought the future into one room.

At the Youth Symposium on Environment, Development & Sustainability 2026, 200+ young minds, experts, and changemakers came together to turn climate concern into conversation, and conversation into action.

Ideas were shared.
Voices were heard.
A generation stepped forward.

The future looks more responsible when youth lead it.

United International University will remain closed from May 25, 2026 (Monday) to June 04, 2026 (Thursday) on the occasion of “Holy Eid-ul-Adha”.

The classes of Graduate Programs will resume from June 05, 2026 (Friday) and the classes of Undergraduate Programs will resume from June 06, 2026 (Saturday).

University offices will resume functioning from June 06, 2026 (Saturday).

UIU Computer Club, a wing of UIU Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs (UIU DCCSA) successfully organized the 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝟓.𝟎 on Monday, 18 May 2026 at its campus premises. This competition stands as a remarkable journey of learning, resilience and excellence in problem solving.

The event featured a total of 𝐈𝟒 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, celebrating outstanding performance in competitive programming, with a total prize pool of 𝐁𝐃𝐓 𝟔𝟔,𝟎𝟎𝟎/-.

The prize-giving ceremony was chaired by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧, Director of UIU DCCSA and was also graced by the faculty members of Dept. of CSE of UIU including 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐝. 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐤 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 (Assistant Professor), 𝐌𝐫. 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐥 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫 (Lecturer) and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐦𝐮 (Lecturer).

UIU HR Forum, in collaboration with UIU Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs (UIU DCCSA), successfully organized a road safety campaign & art for awareness workshop titled ‘Safe থাকি, Safe রাখি’ presented by Pathao Limited on Wednesday, 20 May 2026 at Seminar Room # 126.

The keynote session was led by Ms. Nafisa Tasnuva Hossain, General Manager- Brands & Communications of Pathao Limited who shared valuable insights into road safety awareness, responsible commuting culture and the role of technology-driven initiatives in promoting safer mobility practices. The interactive discussion provided participants with a deeper understanding of social awareness, responsible road behavior and community engagement.

As part of the campaign, an engaging Art for Awareness Workshop was also conducted, where participants creatively expressed road safety messages through art and advocacy.

The program was attended by officials of UIU, whose presence and encouragement added significance to the initiative. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and meaningful engagement throughout the session, creating an impactful platform for awareness, creativity and social responsibility.

UIU Data Science Club, in collaboration with UIU Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs (UIU DCCSA), successfully organized a recruitment session titled ‘Augmedix Hiring Hacks - RCM Edition 2026” on Sunday, 17 May 2026 at Seminar Room # 126.

The session was conducted by distinguished representatives from Augmedix Bangladesh. The keynote session was led by Mr. Musfiqur Rahman Preo, Lead- Talent Acquisition, who shared valuable insights into the recruitment landscape, essential analytical competencies and the career opportunities available in the field of Data Analytics and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The interactive session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the skills and industry expectations required to excel in today’s data-driven job market. As part of the recruitment initiative, participating candidates also took part in an on-campus assessment examination for the post of ‘Data Analyst’ designed to evaluate their analytical and technical competencies for potential career opportunities at Augmedix Bangladesh.

The program concluded with an inspiring closing speech delivered by Mr. Nahid Hassan Khan, Director of UIU DCCSA, who emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration in preparing students for future career challenges and opportunities.
